Vehicle Detail

Body Type: L = Dodge Dart / Demon Price Class: P = Premium Body Type: 23 = 2 Door Hardtop Engine: B = 225 145HP 1-1BBL 6 CYL Year: 6 = 1966 Sequence Number: 141300 = 41300th Vehical Built This very hard to find 1966 Dodge Dart GT is the real thing. It has a 340 bored .40 over with an Edelbrock 4 bbl 650 cfm carb mounted to an Edelbrock Street Master manifold, we are including the factory manifold as well. The original 225 is long since gone. It has a genuine Torque Flight 727 Automatic Transmission delivering power to a Ford 9 inch rear end with 2.43 gears and has a seperate pumpkin with 3.40 gears which will come in a carrier. It has a new B-M shifter and has dual exhaust. It is an S paint code (Cream) original color with Black interior. It includes front disc brakes. It has Weld Wheels all around 5X15 in the front and 7X15 in the rear. It has a rust spot on the driver door lower front and needs a new headliner, as the seams are beginning to seperate. The seats and carpet were installed new a few years ago, but the door panels are original, as far as we know. This GT has been driven on weekend raod trips and is ready to drive away. The car itself has 140,000 original miles, but the engine is unknown. It was bought with the 340 in it and the previous owner was not aware of engine miles. This is a west coast car and is straight and rust free except for the spot on the driver door and normal surfaces. The car has been in storage over the winter and can been seen in person with appointment, just request day and time through e-bay messaging. Please check our feedback and you will see we are very straight forward. Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder. We will sell worldwide and will provide appropriate documentation depending on the country and customs requirements. the car must be picked up within 15 days of auction close or we can arrange storage seperately. We will be happy to arrange shipping either in the U.S. or outside, seperate from the sale of the car. Please send your questions, if they are relavant we will post them for all to see. Thank you for looking. On Mar-14-11 at 20:31:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction: The odometer reads 71,500...these are original miles on the car, it has probably turned over once, but the motor is unknown as stated before. On Mar-16-11 at 17:12:21 PDT, seller added the following information: To be clear. The vehicles was purchased by us about 6 years ago. It had the 340 in it, and the previous owner did not have actual miles. We believe it to be between 10,000 and 20,000 tops. It is rock solid and runs great, looks and operates like a fresh rebuild, super stron. We added the current manifold and saved the original plus other items. It does not have A/C vents in the dash, it was not an A/C car, and A/C is not really needed in Washington State. You would have to add A/C with an underdash kit. That should take care of any questions. Meanwhile keep them coming if you have any more. Thank you for all of the interest, and for looking. The new owner is getting a steal at our price.
