1979 MGB Convertible. Originally purchased to tinker with and to tool around the neighborhood. At time of purchase, vehicle did not run and needed lots of work. Vehicle now runs and has been improved but still needs work. Now we are moving and no longer have the time or facilities to continue our efforts to improve the vehicle. It needs someone who can continue to make improvements. Like previously stated, the car did not run when purchased. Started and ran after carburetor cleaning and rebuild. Other improvements included; new glove box, both seats replaced, replaced padded arm rest/storage between seats, turn signal/windshield wiper combination switch, window cranks, weather stripping around doors, attached luggage rack to trunk lid, muffler repaired, some bulbs and miscellaneous other fixes. Still lots to do. Car does have some rust along both sides of body. Convertible has a short tear in right rear of top. Though tires have good tread, two have trouble holding air in the long term. It also needs to be rewired by someone with more patience than myself. There is a slow drain on battery that has not been identified. The remaining balance is due within 7 days by cashier's check, cash in person, or PayPal (preferred).
