Up for auction is a very rare Oldsmobile Toronado 425 cubic inch engine 385 hp front wheel drive. the first car with front wheel drive ever made! this was motor trends car of the year for 1966! and will be the most sought after old's since they stopped making them in 2004 !! it is a drivable car and everything works on it. Transmission was rebuilt three and a half years ago shift fine through all gears, All the brakes were rebuilt two years ago. This car has been garage kept most of it's life. It did receive a restoration in 1981, That consisted of Paint & Interior the car has 79.000 Actual Current Miles and still runs like new! It is starting to show it's age in some spots but all very minor, like for example some color is fading and there is some bubbling down in the bottom of the fenders but it's extremely minimal. The paint, chrome trims and all else still shines! All-in-All it doesn't need much else to become a perfect show quality car, these car's in super mint condition average $15.000 dollars and up. And there rarity will in fact increase in these next following years. This car only need's very minor TLC to become a perfect car. Like for example: The front seat needs to be recovered, and the headlights are stuck in the up position. ( Reason why the light's are stuck in the up position is because they operate by Vacuum and there is a leak in the air tank connected to those Vacuums. ) Those are really the only things wrong with this car minus the few blemishes you would expect from a 47 year old car. But i assure you, you won't find one in this good of condition at this price. The bottom of the chassis is extremely solid, No rust in the frame. No rust in the floors, No rust in the trunk.
