Vehicle Detail
1966 Pontiac Grand Prix, 6.4L 389 92K, engine code reveals 360 HP model. CLEAN TITLE!!! Engine block, transmission and rear end has never been replaced. This vehicle runs great and has had over 4000 in parts replaced on it since 2007. The vehicle is drivable and does need a water pump, paint job and a new vinyl top. Paint is oxidized and there is very minor surface rust in a few spots. The steel is not pitted and there are no holes. The body is in great shape with almost no work needed. the following parts have been replaced: Rear shocks, front shocks, fuel pump, fuel lines, sway bar end links, sway bar bushings, alternator, battery, starter, starter cables, PS pump, PS lines, radiator, coolant hoses, t-stat, intake manifold, carburetor, valve cover gaskets, oil pan trans and rear end gaskets, headers, mufflers, pipes, AC has been retrofitted to R-134A and blows cold! Coolant fans, door weather stripping, window weather stripping and a lot of the wiring has been replaced. Vehicle interior is immaculate; there is a small 6" section of the driver side seat that is showing signs of wear. It is actually along the beaded trim. You can see from the photo of the interior where it is. The headliner and dash is in great shape. Original floor mats, owner’s manual still in car. The carb and intake manifold has been replaced with an edelbrock. I still have the original carter AFB in a box in parts. A friend was supposed to rebuild it and it was returned to me in 100 pieces. All parts are accounted for if you know how to rebuild it. I will e-mail pictures upon request. Serious offers only please and I am also not accepting trades with vehicles. I found a vinyl top on e-bay for 169 bucks delivered and Advance auto parts carries the water pump for around 60. . Low retail on this vehicle is 6900 with the current engine and AC. Average retail is running around 12K with a good top and paint job. High retail is 25,000 fully functional. This is a very good opportunity to make A Nice Car.I Got This Car To Restore But Thing Have changed Now I Have To Sell It The Ad U Just Read Is The Ad When I Got It The Car Had Been In His Family For Over 20 + Years.I Drove It Home It Drivers Nice For A 45 Year Old Car.The Interior Is Great Shape Its Almost In Mint Condition The Only Rust I See Is On The Roof As Seen In The Pictures And Some In The Trunk As Seen In The Pictures. This Would Make A Great Show Car With Alittle Work And A Good Paint Job.The Water Pump Is Not Leaking But The Bearing Is Bad From Sitting And Its Causing The Pully To Rub One Of The Water Pump Bolts And Is Making A Bad Noise.Let Me Add This If This Was A GTO In This Condition It Would Be Worth $100,000 Dollars. Also If I Had Not Run Into Hard Times This Car Would NOT Be Going Anywhere. On Mar-16-11 at 11:15:32 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: THE RUST IN THE ROOF LOOKS ALOT WORSE IN THE PICTURES THEN IT REALLY IS.IF U WANT CLOSE UP PICTURES SEND ME AN EMAIL ADDRESS AND I'LL SEND U SOME CLOSE UP PICTURES OF THE RUST ON THE ROOF.ONLY ONE OF THE 3 RUST SPOTS HAVE A HOLE IN IT.ITS THE ONE THAT ABOUT MIDWAY OF THE BACK WINDOW.I BELIEVE THAT WHERE THE WATER GOT IN THE TRUNK.THE DRIP RAIL AROUND THE TRUNK LOOKS GREAT.
