This is a New 1985 RS250RE 2-Stroke Race Engine with 38 MM carbs and a CDI Box, ready to go. This is the redesigned Engine from 1985 which has a smaller crankcase with the rear cyclinder turn down 180 degree,the ATAC exhaust valve system and revised porting, producing a 250CC, 70HP PLUS Engine @ 12500 RPM with a bore and stoke of 54 x 54.5mm. This Engine was an upgrade from the original RS250RE design and went on to win a few races for Honda at that time. New In The Box ready to go. I`ll try to answer all the questions I can. This Engine was Built for Freddie Spencer`s Personal use. I have a letter of Authenticity signed by ther Man himself. I have absolutely no intentions on using this Engine for anything and it must go. I know that there are alot of cart racer`s out there using this Engine and it may be something they are interested in. A complete Engine like this would be hard to recreate.
