Chevrolet Lumina Car 1997 3.1L v6 The car has about 129,000 miles, so about 207,000km It is in a perfectly good used mildly every day condition. I do not remember exactly but I think I've had it for about 2-3 years now. This is THE best car I ever had. I say this because I have literally had ZERO problems with it. Only regular oil changes, that's all I ever did on it. I did about 6000-8000 miles on it per year. so this is very little compared to average. But again, it's always been a smooth ride with zero problems. The car looks good on the inside, the back seats hardly ever used, so they are super top shape. front passanger seat, same thing. driver seat great shape no rips or anything. Outside is very good too given the age, with a few small rust spots and paint chips above wheels mostly. Normal for this car, no rust eaten holes. Some small things to know, which have no effect on driving and need not immediate fix since I've used car like this for long time: - driver door key lock, I can insert key usually halfway thruogh or sometimes all the way if memory serves but cannot turn it. I think it happened after some winter freezing my lock and me tryign to force it. I never bothered to fix. the passenger door lock works fine. plus the remote also yuo can use to lock unlock (see below for remote details) - there is an alarm box with 8 switches under panel (above break pedal), I've no clue how to set switches so remote does not work, but I do have the remote pilot, plus at some point the car did lock unlock/start from distance, so I know it works if switches are set properly. the remote is beat and old and well used but the buttons still work on it. - the car will come with 4 winter tires, still good for a while, 15 inches. so total of 4 winter tires, the ones on car now. no extra tires. - I have the plastic covers for wheels, jsugt never use them, so you get them too - air condititioning was out since I bought this car.. though when I turn to it, the noise and rpms change, so a friend told me it may just need refill.. can't guarantee that though since I never checked it professionally - windshield no cracks - back breaks okay, front breaks may need attention in a while but still working and pads are not finished (discs bit rusted mechanic told me last time) - battery ok, car starts liek a jet even in -30 celsius weather - good accelration, transmission switches gears okay as far as I can tell no problem there - here is the main thing you have to remember, if you put more than say 3/4 of gas into tank, it begisn to smell gas. I have no clue what this means, rusted tank? I do not know. I never bothered with it. what I always do is put about 20-25l of gas, at a time, and never a single problem or a single smell. but this would be yoru choice to do with as you please. again, from my experience up to 30L of gas in tank gives off no smell. I guess you can still put whole tank, it will jsut smell a bit. - car comes with a nice cd player and nice speaker sound. good sound there! spacious interior and very comfy smoth ride! this is nto a toyota tercel but a nice comfort car after all! - car has very nice tinted windows front and back and all sides.. so yuo can forget about sun bothering you when you drive! no need for sunglasses either. this is a really great effect/quality tint which I loved! that's all I can remember.
