From a Doctors personal collection a nice, driver quality 1968 Corvette Convertible. Automatic, PS, PB, PW, cold A/C, wood wheel, and 2 tops. Nice clean original interior with only 1 tear in the drivers seat. A good paint job with only a few minor blemishes - some "checking" on the left rear by the luggage rack. Appears to not be the original motor - no numbers on pad - casting number is 3959512. Nice Rally wheels and new tires. Just gone through by Mann's Corvette shop in Osceola, IN. $4800 spent on new front suspension parts and brakes. Everything works except the radio. Trim Tag shows: paint 972 - Polar White. It is a replacement vin tag installed in the same place as the original vin tag. The title and vin number were checked by the Indiana State Police. This check verified the title and previous owner and that it is not a stolen vehicle. The BMV has assured us that there is no problem transferring ownership and plating this car. However, the previous high bidder was trying to ship it overseas and he discovered that was not possible due to the non-standard vin designation.
