Very well kept 2001 Celica 2 Door Hatchback. Color is Cobalt Blue. It has 165K miles on it, but for a shift model and kept this well, that is not much. We are the third owners and purchased this car in November of 2009 with 156K miles on it. The only reason we are selling it is because it is parked in the garage and we do not need it right now. As the kids are growing so are our car needs changing. Paint has normal chips and dings, windows are not cracked in any way. For the time we have had it, it has been garage kept. The paint is absolutely shiny. Pleas note that the scuffs noticeable on the hood picture are actually reflections of clouds, the paint is not faded anywhere. The lens on the headlights and the sun roof have some fading, the headlights can easily be brought back to brand new with a buffing kit. For the time that we have had it and as described by the previous owner, this car has never been in a wreck or even a fender bender. All paint is original. The car currently has top of the line windshield wipers and also white head lights (not Xenon, just white). The car shifts very smoothly and it is very fast, the acceleration is unbelievable. It has the 1ZZ-FE engine, 1.8 liter. There are no leaks or fluid losses, and no smoke either. Gas mileage is excellent, 24 City and 30 Highway are not only advertised but proven true to us. There are currently about 2,000 miles left until the next oil change is due. The tires are almost new, they only have about 3,000 miles on them. They are Good Year Eagle GT tires. This car does not pull or vibrate, sits very stable. Wheels are alloy factory ones. (Please see the CONS). The battery has been in the car since we bought it. The car is equipped with all standard factory equipment, we have not added or removed anything except for the sound system. Airbags are in place, cruise control works perfectly, please note that ABS is not part of factory equipment for this model. This car has (very efficient) front disk brakes and rear drum brakes. A/C blows cold and the heater works just fine. The previous owner confirmed they had the water pump and timing belt maintenance done. The interior is all in good shape. There are some stains on the seat fabrics, we just never got around to having them cleaned. All plastics are in good shape, power windows, locks and mirrors all work perfectly, front seats are bucket style. There are no tears and there are rubber mats in place in front and back. The cargo mesh is also in place. The sunroof is stained on the outside but works and seals perfectly. (Please see note below on CONS). CONS - The interior cover of the sunroof will only close to the middle, it will not totally close. This is only the cover, the sunroof's operation is not affected in any way. Also, the clicker stopped working a while back. The little red light comes on but the locks do not operate. Unfortunately the alarm is tied to the same system and therefore does not operate properly either. Sometimes it will engage with the clicker but then to disengage it, it is a pain. There are 3 center hubs missing on the wheels, this does not affect performance or safety, but they are missing. EXTRAS - This car comes with a superior sound system. Radio head is a JVC with remote control, it comes with a 1,200 Watt Nitro Amplifier and 2 x 12-Inch Memphis Street Edge Subs. This was all professionally installed by a local expert. It also has the Base Knob in the drives seat compartment and can be seen in one of the pictures. The boxes that the amplifier and radio head came in as well as the original factory radio are included in this sale. To summarize, this is one little very fun to drive car that has been very well taken care of and is unmolested. It is a head turner due to its awesome shape. Registration and Inspection are current. Registration sticker for 2011 has been received. The car comes with 2 keys, one clicker and the anti-theft socket for the wheels, All factory manuals as well as the plastic ket are included.
