Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS Yenko Tribute. I purchased the car 2 years ago in Daytona Beach Florida at the Turkey Rod Run. I purchased the car in nearly the same condition as it is today with the exception of the Yenko stripe kit which I installed. The car is to the best of my knowledge a real '69 SS with power disk brakes and a 12 bolt posi rear (3.73). It is a very healthy 350ci with a 4 speed. I do not know if it is the original engine though it has the correct casting number for a '69 LT1 and the heads are "186" power pack heads which were also used on the LT1. It is a solid lifter motor with somewhat of a radical cam. The fellow I bought it from said that it was a 550 lift though he wasn't sure about the duration. It has a Victor Jr. intake and a GM High Energy Iginition. Engine runs strong as hell. Holds 50 pounds of oil pressure steadily while cruising. Gauge does not flucuate at all while idling or driving and this thing burns no oil. Reliable and fast. I did adjust the carb and re-install the correct power valve. For some reason he had installed a power valve block. I also adjusted the valves because they were a little noisey. Other than a new set of BF Goodrich tires, all I've done is wax and drive her. It has been an awesome head turning driver. It is not a 100 point show car though it gets all the attention at local shows and Hooters cruise nights. It has ceramicoat long tube headers into 3" stainless exhaust. It sounds bad as hell. It has new front and back seat upholstery from Year One. They are perect. The carpet is older but in great shape. The door panels and dash appear to be original and are also in great shape. The paint appears to be not more than a few years old. Someone did a pretty nice job and it is the correct fathom green based on the firewall tag. It is evident that both quarters were replaced. Someone also did a nice job there. Other than that there does not appear to be any considerable amount of body filler or any waivy panels. Again, a great driver. If you have any questions fee free to give me a call. My cell is 215-768-1400. My name is George. I am selling it to move on to other toys. No other reason than I really won't have time to drive it this spring and summer. My son has a busy baseball schedule and I don't miss a game and also I've been doing some 4WD drag racing which is taking up a lot of my time. Please, save the stupid offers for someone who is desperate money. I'd like to sell it but I am by no means desperate. Furthermore, I am not interested any trades. Thanks and good luck.On Mar-06-11 at 13:25:01 PST, seller added the following information: I had entered a Buy Now Price of $15,000.00. When I attempt to edit, the Buy Now is in my listing though not visible to bidders and I have been unable to edit it. In the event someone wants to Buy Now and end the auction. Email me that you intend to do so. Make the bid and I will end the auction. I am waiting for a response from Ebay regarding why my Buy Now is not able to be viewed.
