I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE "STEALERSHIP" AND THEY WANTED $500 TO ATTEMPT TO LOCATE THIS PROBLEM. I ASKED THEM IF IT WOULD ACTUALLY EFFECT THE AIRBAGS AND THEY SAID NO IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE QX56'S AND IT WOULDN'T NEED REPAIRED IF I DIDN'T WANT TO. I GOOGLED IT AND IT IS IN FACT A COMMON PROBLEM. SO I DECIDED TO SAVE MY $500 AND NOT GIVE IT TO THEM AT THEIR $95/HOUR LABOR RATE. ALSO, THERE IS A SMALL LIEN ON THE VEHICLE THRU MY BANK SO ONCE IT IS PAID OFF, I WILL FILL OUT THE INFORMATION ON THE TITLE AND OVERNIGHT IT TO THE NEW OWNER.
