2008 HONDA CBR1000RR Pristine Condition - Candy Red and Silver Title In Hand - Low Mileage - Tons of Extras The item for sale is an immaculate 2008 Honda CBR1000RR with an odometer that currently reads 3996 miles (there may be 10 or so more miles on the bike upon pick-up because the bike is being stored). The motorcycle is nearly flawless condition and not financed; I have the title in hand. I am only selling the bike because I am closing on a house next month, and I need the money. The has never been nicked or dented, and certainly never laid down. I can’t say enough about this bike’s performance, honestly. It’s the most maneuverable bike I’ve ever ridden, and one of the lightest literbikes on the market. The aerodynamic aesthetics are beautiful, and the built-in slipper clutch (not something you get stock in most bikes) makes for silky smooth downshifts. Plainly put, it’s a joy to ride. And, oh yeah… It’s fast. Treat the bike with respect and you’re in for the ride of your life. The only real signs of usage are a very light scratch in one or two places. Absolutely nothing major, or anything that can be seen from more than 3 feet away. The pictures pretty much speak for themselves. If you’re thinking about buying this bike (or any bike, for that matter) from another seller, please take a look at the following reasons that you should buy this particular bike from me instead. The title is clear and in hand. Many eBay vehicle purchases go awry because the vehicle has been financed and/or the title is not in the seller’s possession before the sale. The process of receiving the title from a financial institution or filing for a new title can be a long and frustrating process, during which the delivery of your new bike would be delayed. With the title in hand, this process can realistically happen in one day. The bike is in pristine condition. There are almost no scratches. Take a look at the high resolution pictures above. I carefully washed the bike at short intervals, applying Meguiar’s wax after every wash. I am not an irresponsible rider or racer, and the bike has never seen the track or been raced on the street. I understand that there’s no reason for you to trust some random eBayer, but my feedback speaks for itself. A motorcycle mechanic would easily be able to confirm that this bike has been treated well, and that standard maintenance procedures, including 600-mile tune-up and oil changes (premium full synthetic) at 1000-mile intervals have been performed meticulously. Also, the motorcycle is bone stock. If you ever plan on selling the bike in the future or picking up an after-market warranty, this is a must. Plus, from a more personal perspective, it will be your own bike to customize.The bike also comes with tons of extras. These include a Battery Tender, and a premium Nelson-Rigg outdoor cover with matching backpack, and a the official service manual in a giant extra heavy-duty three-ring binder. Each page has been inserted into a laminate sleeve, so it's perfect for the garage. I also have subscriptions to Cycle World, Motorcyclist, and Sport Rider magazines which I can transfer to you. Some of these of have upwards of a year left in issues, and I can’t bear getting them in the mail with my bike gone. You can also have a plain black HJC helmet (medium) with both clear and dark smoke windscreens, a grey/black Joe Rocket textile jacket (medium), black Joe Rocket boots (size 10), and black/red Joe Rocket gloves (large).
