This is a 1995 Jeep Wrangler Hardtop 4x4 with the 4.0 liter six-cylinder engine and manual five-speed transmission. This Jeep is now a Track Truck using the Dominator XL series track system from American Track Truck, Inc. Find out more about this company at www.AmericanTrackTruck.com . The tracks were installed in February 2011 and have less than a mile of use. The Jeep has about 170,000 miles on it. The 4.0 liter six-cylinder engine runs great and does not smoke, leak, or use any fluids. The manual transmission shifts smooth and the 4x4 low and high ranges operate flawlessly. The clutch was recently replaced and it works great. The Jeep is pretty clean inside and out. The exterior looks really good for a 95. The green paint is still very glossy with a few light dents and scratches. The truck is very solid with good suspension, joints, brakes, etc. All of the electric controls and gauges, etc. all seem to work perfect. The heat, wipers, and defrost all work great. This Jeep makes the perfect Track Truck since it is so light and powerful. And when you don’t need the tracks, you can put tires back on and use the Jeep as an every day driver. It takes about 30 minutes to remove the tracks and put some wheels back on. The Dominator XL series tracks are made by American Track Truck. They are designed to work in snow, slush, ice, mud, swamp, marsh, wet terrain, and even dry ground, gravel and pavement at lower speeds! They are brand new with less than a mile on them. They include brand new Camoplast 136”x 15”x .75” rubber tracks. Dominator XL track systems are very solid and super easy and economical to maintain. All of the wear items can be purchased at your local snowmobile shop or auto parts store. Dominator XL’s can be installed or removed by one person in under an hour. They only weigh about 185 lbs each. These Dominator XL’s will fit any vehicle with a 5 x 4.50” or 5 x 4.75” bolt pattern, so you can put them on another vehicle later, if you choose. Most Jeep Wranglers, Cherokees, Grand Cherokees, and Libertys and Ford Rangers, Explorers, and Escapes have the 5 x 4.5” bolt pattern. Most Blazers, Jimmys, S-10s, Sonomas and Bravadas have the 5 x 4.75” bolt pattern. And if you wish to install these tracks onto a vehicle with a different bolt pattern, adaptors are available to fit almost anything. The Dominator XL tracks provide extremely high floatation, since they have a ground contact surface area of 3,420 square inches. This Jeep Track Truck literally floats through the deepest snow as its ground pressure is only about 1 lb per square inch. Yet in high range on solid ground this Track Truck will still run out at over 30 mph with ease. This Track Truck is really easy to drive, not much different than if it was on tires. We have a loading dock and can drive this vehicle onto a flatbed, stepdeck, van or reefer trailer. Figure a total vehicle weight of about 3,750 lbs.
