This is a 1997 Audi A8 quattro with full time all wheel drive tires are almost new. Transmission needs replaced you can find one here on E bay with a one year warranty for about $1200 rebuilt you also should get a core refund for the old transmission, and the labor is about $1000 for installation. Audi didnt plan out the transmission they put in this car since its the same one used in the 4x4 Range rover land rover. I am living in an apartment now and Im keeping the car in a friends garage still covered with a car cover The transmission slips, one of the front axle boots is torn, its better to change out the entire axle those are only about $100 for this car and another $100 installed. I was a Ford technician so I researched these things alot. I paid $6500 for this car knowing it needed a transmission but I never got around to fixing it. The previous owner garaged the car as have I with a car cover. When car is fixed it can take turns on to streets at 45mph in the poring rain with out screeching tires or loosing control or even moving me around in my seat. at 65mph if you hit the gas the car will do 150mph like a stroll in park car is quiet you cant even feel a thing. This car when fixed is faster than a 5speed manual 5.0 mustang with a supercharger on the street. She will keep you safe from anyone following you, and can go where most cars cant with all wheel drive. Its completly aluminum 7 different space age aluminums forged together that space ships are made of. Brand new this car cost $70,000. The accident was the rear bumper crack it was from the 2nd owner he was the man who owned the used car lot this was his personal car from colorado, I drove 1,100 miles to buy this car.
