We have original owner's registration papers from only 40 miles away from where the car is today. The car, as best we can tell, has spent it's entire life in this immediate area. It still had its original top which was showing its age and we had a new premium top with headliner installed at a cost of a little over $1000. Cold air-hot heat-loud music--no warning lights/check engine light on after starting!!!! It runs and drives as good as it looks and is very fast. This car was obtained from the estate of a deceased local friend who was a collector/car dealer/ and rebuilder, who rebuilt it as his personal project/keeper. From carefully examining the car it appears that he obtained a 25th Anniversary convertible wrecked in the front (as the rear of the car has a lot of factory paint). Based on the vin #, he took a same year loaded TA coupe that had been rolled or hit in the rear and clipped that front end onto the convertible. This way the car is all factory undamaged metal straight and true. The title is green, which in Oklahoma is considered a "clean" title, but it shows an insurance loss on 05/25/2002 which matches the title search information. It takes a close examination by an expert to detect the work! The car is gorgeous and runs and drives like a dream 25th Anniv. coupes are scare as hen's teeth----when was the last time you saw a convertible? Probably never! Shipping is at your expense, but we will accommodate and help where possible. You can take up to a few weeks to get it picked up as long as it is paid for and it will be stored indoors at no charge.
