Here up for auction today is our 99 Tahoe. It has some mileage on it, but the guy who owned it before me said he drove back and forth from Iowa to Arizona. So the mileage is mostly from driving the interstate. Lets start with the exterior.... The front of the truck on the grill has a minor chip in the chevy emblem. The windshield has a crack low in glass. The drivers side running board front plastic piece needs to be reattached. Passenger side front door has minor ripple in the metal. The Drivers side rear barn door is showing just a minor bit of rust, the only rust on the entire truck. Very fixable and would be pretty cheap to fix. Interior of the truck is very clean, It has an aftermarket CD player in the dash, Pioneer deck and it work great. Dash is in great shape, seats are in great shape, Driver seat is power. Rear view mirror has temp gauge in it and ice warning built in. The center console is missing one plastic insert. And the rear pass door is missing the ash tray insert. It has a new blower motor, but need a resistor to adjust the fan speed, currently it only operates on high. AC and Heat work great. When I bought the truck it needed tires bad, so I found these newer model 17" Chevrolet wheels. The updated wheels really separate this Tahoe from the rest. The front tires are in great shape, but the rear tires are cupped. These are the way I bought them, and just put them on the truck this way. 17" tires are much easier to find in this area and cheaper then 16"s When I pulled the tires brakes were in great shape. Truck is in fantastic shape the only thing that it will need in the future would be 2 things. It will probably need tires in about 15k miles. The other thing it needs is a slight repair to the oil cooling lines. There are two lines that run from the engine to the radiator one is seeping oil at some point along the way. These run engine oil from the engine through the radiator to cool the oil. I cannot see the leak, but believe it just needs new lines. Probably about $100. Other then that when I bought this, I was surprised on how well it drove. It cruises with no problems, and pulls great. This truck has a nice hitch and tow package too. Overall a great vehicle that needs some minor TLC. If you run it in Kelly Blue Book it books out at about 5500. Even with the mileage it books that high...
