In 1999 the Barracuda was taken off the road and mechanical restoration was started, the original 318 was rebuilt and bored .30 over, purple cam was installed and the original automatic transmission was rebuilt. In the last 3 months new headers were installed and a new dual exhaust system. New aluminum intake and Edelbrock 650 CFM carb. New engine bay factory wiring harness. all new brakes, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, master cylinder and brake lines, new battery, new starter, drive shaft has been balanced and new U joints installed, new Mopar electronic distributor and much more. It comes with rechromed bumpers and hood grills, boot and car cover, perfect front grills and everything else which makes the Barracuda 100% complete. The floors and trunk pan are 100% rust free and look to be dealer undercoated when sold new. There is a some minor rust on the inner rear quarter panels, The paint is a 10 footer and shows imperfections, it was repainted by Maaco in 1998, convertible top was replaced in 1998, top needs to be cleaned, comes with new black carpet and dash cover, original intake, exhaust manifolds, wire wheel covers and 4 steel wheels are included. It has power steering and a power top. The engine and transmission have zero miles. The engine has not been started since being rebuilt in 1999 and has been garage kept.
