You are viewing my awesome 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT! ONLY 39,000 MILES PUT ON THIS ENGINE! This car is a sweet ride to say the least, there is NOTHING ELSE LIKE IT ON THE ROAD. The SVT Cobra is a limited production vehicle: #769 of 5,174 built. This car is ONE OWNER, FLORIDA OWNED, NEVER SMOKED IN, GARAGE KEPT and NEVER RACED. I am a responsible owner, fifty-five year old professional who takes care of the car meticulously. Let me describe this car to you. The car has been equipped with 20,000 – 25,000 of high quality aftermarket upgrades. All of the work on this car was done by professional speed and performance shops including STEEDA. When you’re talking about this vehicle you have to start with under the hood: It is POWERFUL! It has been professional DYNO tuned for optimum performance. The primary upgrade on the car is a VORTECH V2 S-TRIM INTERCOOLED SUPERCHARGER with 11 lbs of boost! The 11 lb of boost adds approx 180 HORSEPOWER TO THE WHEELS. The entire engine was replaced in 2005 w/ factory remanufacture in order to handle the power the supercharger produces. Only 39,000 miles have been put on this engine. The performance has been boosted by Ford Motorsports full length headers, Bassani X-pipes and Bassani cat back dual exhaust. 42 lb fuel injectors were added along with a Mass air meter for maximum efficiency in the engine. The transmission has been upgraded with a heavy duty racing clutch, 3:73 gears and a Pro 5-0 speed shifter. The handling of the car is in a word…awesome. The car has been lowered using AGX adjustable front struts and read shocks. Handling has been fine tuned using a caster / camber kit and rear control arms. Moving to the exterior, you can see this is a sweet looking ride. The exterior looks excellent with a laser red, glossy look that is deep and rich (original paint job, not a repaint). It has been meticulously cared for, always with a good set of wax on. The Y2K Cobra Motorsport rims are in perfect condition with no pitting, road rash or scratches. The hood and sides have been enhanced with a great looking black racing stripe job. Special custom rear taillights and headlights have been installed for a hot look (see pictures). The rear Mach III wing gives it a great look and is designed to hold the rear down at high speeds. The tires are special NITTO DRAG RADIALS (put on new on 5/5/2010), designed for maximum performance, but can still be used as a daily driver. Moving inside you will find a great looking interior. From the moment you open the door you’ll notice the interior side running boards have a special chrome finish that reads “Supercharged”. The OEM seats have been replaced with Kenny Brown Recaro Sport Racing seats with 4 point racing restraints. Extra racing gauges have been placed along the A-pillar with a tach, supercharger boost and oil pressure. Custom cobra carpets are a great accent along with chrome foot pedals. The interior was designed to look CLASSY but still hold you in your seat with this cars great performance. If you drive this car you will NOT be disappointed.
