Very Fast Corvair!! California car. No rust ever. 180hp turbocharger(Tons of boost), rebuilt high performance trans.(heavy duty syncros. New heavy duty clutch, rebuilt engine sounds as it should, alluminum valve covers and basepan. Heavy duty oil pump, Quick shifter with all new shifter bushing.(Shifts super smooth). Quick steering arms, Front stabilizer bar(with new bushings) Rear custom stabilizer bar. 4:11 rear end gears. New heavy duty Springs all around. Headlight grills, flowmaster exhaust. Factory Tinted glass New parts as follows: All front end parts...everything, 100% new wiring under hood and in the trunk, new wheel bearings, P-brake cables, shift linkage, door rubbers, dash pad, door panels, seat covers, headliner, dome light, rugs, kick panels, front bumper, brakes lines ( all front to back) , Master cylinder. Door rubbers, door fuzzies, every bolt has been removed cleaned and or replaced,Thus when things need to be repaired the bolts come off easy!!! Car originally came from California where it spent its life. The car runs very well but does rev when on the highway due to the 4:11 gears. Highway long rides are tough on the ears. Interior is very very nice. Cool Dinsmore compass, New visors, Car runs very well and the last long ride was a 300 plus mile trip. The car ran super. The car handles very well and I have done some autocrossing and she did very well against some high dollar cars. The turbo boosts strong and smooth. The paint is older and has some blemishes. It does shine and present very well but it is not a show car. The car was built to be used. It drives nice and straight down the road and has no rattles. It is however 47 years old and is not meant to be a daily driver. It is always garaged and well cared for. It is never used in the rain. There are no rust issues. So....why is it for sale. Well, I really enjoy Autocrossing and am building a car that I can use.....aggressively, The Spyder is much too nice to drive hard and rip apart and put a roll cage in. So it needs a new home. I will not give it away and if it does not sell, I will convert it to a race unit. But i would rather see it stay original. Even though the 180 IS NOT STOCK IT LOOKS STOCK.
