1968 CHEVY IMPALA CUSTOM- FORMER LOWRIDER SHOW CAR WELCOME TO ANOTHER "NO RESERVE" AUCTION !! This 1968 Impala was an early 80's show car, lots of body mods and customizing was done as you can tell by the pics. It also has working old school hydraulics. It still runs and drives but needs another total "makeover". This is no more than a good running lowrider or project car. This auction has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, I can assist with delivery, I also deliver to the shipping terminals in the Los Angeles area on a weekly basis. Also, I plan on selling many of the cars in my collection this year, so it will benefit other collectors and those of you that already know me and what I have to continue watching my listings! Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! Cosmetically, this Impala was a nicely done car in its time. It is still dent and rust free. The car had been customized back in the early '80's and over the years it has just been stored and neglected. The area around the sunroof has many cracks from bondo (see pic). 1/4 panel has bondo chips from the trim holes being filled. All glass is in good shape, all the chrome and custom grill/headlight setup still looks good. Doors and trunk are shaved and the trunk is stuck shut for some reason. Firestone tires are in really good shape and wrapped around old school Crager S/S wheels. Bumpers look good and the chrome is still nice. The interior is pretty crappy in my opinion. The two front buckets are nice but thats about it. Carpet, headliner, back seat all need redone. The hydraulic system has 2 chrome pumps, 4 batteries and 2 switches-nothing special at all. Mechanically, this Impala's engine looks to be original and runs great, no noises or smoke and has plenty of power. The transmission has NO REVERSE and it needs another muffler, air cleaner and exhaust pipe. Fuel system has been flushed and freshened. This car is equipped with front disc brakes. I have in hand the clean and clear California title on this Chevy. I have placed the vehicle on non-op status with DMV, so no back fees are due. The car is located in Moreno Valley, California 92551 (Southern California) near March Air Base. I encourage personal inspections and am available Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm for personal viewing.
