Red with black leather and a black top, manual top, 5 speed, 96,330 miles, fuch's with good tires, air conditioning. This car has been owned for close to 12 years by a retired doctor. When he purchased the car in 1999 he had the whole car serviced and painted. He spent close to $10,000 on restoring this car. Since then, it has been a weekend driver for him. Garage kept and serviced regularly. We have a binder containing service records from the past 12 years and photo's from the day the car was bought and progress pictures through the repaint. This car runs great. A/C works but isn't blowing incredibly cold. There are only two spots on the car where the repaint can be noticed. There is a small overspray spot on a trim piece and there are very minor cracks that can be seen in the paint on right at the base of the passenger side mirror. Top is in great condition and the window is clear. Clutch and brakes feel strong. This car is burning the typical small amount of oil that is known in these cars. It is not dripping any oil where parked. But there is some minor smoking on startup and there is some minor oil use requiring a top off occasionally. This is typical of older porsches and is not to be alarmed about. On a scale out of 10, I would give this car an 8. the interior is in great shape and well maintained. now available for purchase... 1983 Porsche 911 Cabriolet. Red with black leather and a black top, manual top, 5 speed, 96,330 miles, fuch's with good tires, air conditioning. This car has been owned for close to 12 years by a retired doctor. When he purchased the car in 1999 he had the whole car serviced and painted. He spent close to $10,000 on restoring this car. Since then, it has been a weekend driver for him. Garage kept and serviced regularly. We have a binder containing service records from the past 12 years and photo's from the day the car was bought and progress pictures through the repaint. This car runs great. A/C works but isn't blowing incredibly cold. There are only two spots on the car where the repaint can be noticed. There is a small overspray spot on a trim piece and there are very minor cracks that can be seen in the paint on right at the base of the passenger side mirror. Top is in great condition and the window is clear. Clutch and brakes feel strong. This car is burning the typical small amount of oil that is known in these cars. It is not dripping any oil where parked. But there is some minor smoking on startup and there is some minor oil use requiring a top off occasionally. This is typical of older porsches and is not to be alarmed about. On a scale out of 10, I would give this car an 8. the interior is in great shape and well maintained. If someone is looking for a great weekend convertible that looks good and has collector type status...this is the car for you.
