Vehicle Detail

wesome truck. If you're looking at this you obviously know about D90's already. I put in a upgraded stereo system (ipod integration/remote) and put on seat covers (looks amazing). I have never registered the car because I bought it as an investment vehicle. I have the title in hand (but it has my name on it). Honestly, I'm not sure how it would work. I'm hoping that I don't have to register it just to sell it ? I might be able to just get it titled in my name at GA DOT. Has 113K miles on it. I can send you TONS more pictures. CL only allows for 4 pictures. Reason I'm selling: We are downsizing and I only have a 2 car garage. Additionally- I have a 3 month old and priorities have changed :-) Here's a more thorough description: This one of only 100 Special Edition Beluga Black 1994 Defenders ever made, and one of only 1,943 Soft Tops made in 1994. All Special Edition Black Defender 90's came equipped with black/grey leather seating and Beluga Black Clear Coat paint. Options include; 3.9L V-8 Engine, R380 5-Speed transmission, Air Conditioning, Land Rover Soft top, '94 Special Edition Beluga Black clear coat paint, Slate grey Special Edition leather seating, Land Rover brush guard, Land Rover Rear Lamp Guards, 16" Factory Alloy Wheels, Side running steps, NEW AM/ FM/ CD Player stereo complete with Polk component speakers up front and Boston Acoustic speakers in the rear, and more! The exterior is in good overall condition; it just has dents on almost every panel (bulkhead and behind). The finish on the paint is nice and glossy (see pics). The exterior apologies include various dings and dents (see pics) and three windshield dings that are the size of a small coin. The soft top is in good shape, but it does have some previous repairs and two small rips along the beltrail that do not affect the fit or watertightness of the soft top (see pics). The wheels have a few scuffs, and the tires only have a few thousand miles (see pics). This truck is from Texas and therefore has very little rust! The interior is in good condition. The seats are the original leather and are showing their age (see pics). The car has a nice smell and appears to have been a non-smoking vehicle. The front and rear rubber mats show some light wear than you would expect from a 16-year-old vehicle. This Defender drives good. The 5-speed manual transmission has been updated from the LT77 to a R380 somewhere in the lifetime and like most R380's, there is a slight grab when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear (can be easily eliminated with a double clutch or slower shifting). The Air Conditioning blows as cold On Feb-25-11 at 10:34:37 PST, seller added the following information: The "CL" reference above it I was going to put it on CraigsList. Decided I didn't want to be spammed to death, so I listed here. On Feb-27-11 at 12:47:25 PST, seller added the following information: Added Video to show it starting. Interior shots, etc. I know it's hard to buy a car on-line. So here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXdbzsPeOZ4On Feb-27-11 at 16:32:23 PST, seller added the following information: I do have the original manuals and some records from the car's history. Not sure if it's complete but about 10 sheets of work recordsI'm going to try to get a video up on the undercarriage of it. Really hard to photograph thatI'm getting a lot of questions on the "accident" that was reported. To be honest, I got the complete CarFax on it when I bought it and it was something small. Please before considering to buy this truck do your due dilegence and get the CARFAX. It'll give you piece of mind. About the title, I bought it from a dealer in Birmingham who specializes in D90's. At any rate, I have NEVER registered the car because I don't drive it (that often ;-) and mainly bought as an investment vehicle. The registration was going to be $1500 at my GA DMV because it was bought from a dealer. The title is in hand, and it has my name (in ink) on it. So I don't know how that works. I might just try to go get a title (and not register it). I'm trying to be as upfront as possible with this car. I have purchased 5 vehicles on Ebay myself and I know it's tough. Please ask questions and I'll try to get back to you ASAPOn Feb-28-11 at 11:42:20 PST, seller added the following information: Today I went to the DMV to try to just get a new title. Nope. I had to pay the title costs (sales tax). Sucks. Oh well. I just wanted to play by the rules. So they will process the title and send it to USAA (lien holder). Obviously, once I get the funds though, you take the car. I'll overnight the title to you. On Mar-01-11 at 07:23:23 PST, seller added the following information: I know all the aforementioned is a little confusing. Call me if you have any questionsPete 678-887-1005 (Cell)
