Vehicle Detail

(NO-RESERVE AUCTION) This car is the BEST DEAL on all of Ebay for an ORIGINAL UNMOLESTED SURVIVOR 3rd Generation (82-92) Firebird, Formula, or Trans Am or Camaro, RS, or Z/28 in this RARE condition for the money. 1990 Pontiac Firebird Pro Am 1 #51 (1 of 100 produced by Chattanooga Custom Center in Chattanooga Tennessee), this company was one of the biggest & best van conversion companies in the late 80's to the late 90's. They did professional conversions for vans, pick-up trucks, and cars. This is a 1-owner car that has been garage-kept and maintained all of its life, and looks brand new. Its been here in Florida for atleast 1/2 its life, but has'nt been used much since here. Its won 1st & 2nd place in its class numerous times over the years, and with a little clean-up of the lightly soiled interior, it will be ready to WIN again. EVERYTHING works great on the car, including the power pull-down feature of the rear hatch. Its powered by a fuel-injected 305/5.0 liter V-8, Turbomatic 700-R4 with OD auto trans, 2:73 rear axle ratio, ice-cold custom A/C (upgraded last year), power windows & locks, removable hatch-roof with locks, body-side molding, AM/FM stereo radio w/cassette player, and an electric rear-window defogger. Includes the original window sticker for $14,904, plus an EXTRA $5,091 for the Pro Am 1 conversion kit for a total of $19,995. The kit consists of: Special paint scheme, Special hood scoop, Special full ground effects kit, Special alloy wheels, CCC's initials embroidered into the head-rests, Special simulated Walnut wood dash instrument cluster cover/a/c & radio control cover/console shift cover, a SPECIAL Gold-plated dash plaque stating 1990 Pro Am Series 1 #51. The original bright red paint is in GREAT condition with only a couple of minor paint chips & nicks, other than that, there is NO fading or peeling of the clear-coat finish what-so-ever. The paint actually looks better in person, than it does in the pictures. The car drives out great, NO knocks or bearing noises in the engine or valvetrain, the trans shifts perfectly (including overdrive) NO slipping or pump noises, steers straight (doesnt pull), NO shakes or pulsating of the brakes, and the tires are all at atleast 50% tread remaining(other than the R/R). All of the power features work fine, windows & locks, dash lights & instruments (NO check engine lights or any of that), defogger, radio & speakers. We have just noticed a small drip of brake fluid on the garage floor at the left-rear wheel, probably a leaky brake cylinder. The windshield wipers & washers work, both headlight motors, headlights, running lights, brake lights, turn signals, E-flashers, rev-lights, heater & defogger, all work fine. The front & rear hood & rear-hatch shocks are good, NONE of the glass is scratched, chipped, or cracked, all the moldings are good. The interior & carpet are also in great condition, NO rips, tears, or burns of any kind. The seats, carpet, or interior plastic are NOT faded or sun-dry rotted. The headliner is just starting to come down, so that will need REPLACING in the near future. I would rate it at an 8 out of a 10. The car has NEVER been in any type of accident what-so-ever. Although, the ground effects, the front spoiler, and the front bumper cover have been repainted and the color match is PERFECT. The left-rear wheel well does have paint bubbling the size of a silver-dollar right above the paint stripes, and some RUST on the inside lip as well (as pictured). We had a $250 estimate from a local auto paint & body shop to fix this last year, but never got around to it, since it was so minor. Any QUESTIONS, just ASK, before the auction ends, NOT afterwards. I have more pics available on request. THE TERMS OF SALE: This car is 21-yrs old, so it will be sold AS-IS, NO warranties of any kind, expressed or implied. If you want an independant inspection done on the car, or a test-drive , thats fine, but NOT at the last minute of the auction. NOW is the time for it, NOT after the auction has ended and you've already WON. A $500.00 NON-REFUNDABLE Pay-Pal deposit (NO E-checks accepted) is due within 24-hrs of winning the auction, with the balance payable to my bank account within 72-hrs of winning the auction, or CASH in person upon pick-up within 72-hrs of winning the auction. The buyer will have 2-weeks to pick the car up, or have it transported to you. I will gladly assist you with this if needed, but you will pay for it and make all of the arrangements. ANY BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 10 SUCCESSFUL EBAY TRANSACTIONS, WITH A 100% FEEDBACK RATING, MUST PROVIDE THEIR FULL NAME, HOME ADDRESS, AND HOME TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR MY VERIFICATION BEFORE PLACING ANY BIDS ON THIS AUCTION. Failure to do so will only cause me to CANCEL your bid, as well as BLOCK you from bidding on my account PERMANENTLY.
