This one was specially built by one of England's premier early Post War Coachbuilders, The Hooper and Company. As most of you are aware, way back when, the chassis was built and assembled at the Rolls Royce factory and then sent to one of many exclusive "Coachbuilders" to have the body or "Coachwork", fitted. As you will notice in one of the many photos below, the Hooper plaque states that they were the choice of "Royalty"!! this is quite the interesting design, and can be compared to no other!!! WOW, is it awesome, just look at it, takes your breath away!! This is a car that EVERYBODY looks at, whether they like it (most do) or not. What a Unique opportunity to own a very Special Rolls Royce Silver Wraith. This particular example has been previously enjoyed by a long time, and very well known member of the Rolls Royce Owners Club(RROC). Sadly, he passed away around 2006. We were Lucky enough to recently acquire it from his daughter late last fall. He purchased it somewhere around 1999, and commenced to do a full Mechanical and Cosmetic restoration. as you will see in the many detailed photographs below, no stone was left unturned!!! Real Auctions.....$1 to start....Now THAT'S an Auction.... The exterior is called "Luminous Gold Metallic" over "Dover White". I think it is just Gorgeous. The paint is in excellent condition. It is clean and shiny with no signs of damage. There are a few stone chips and nicks here and there, from normal use, hardly noticeable. Apparently, all of the brightwork has been refurbished, as it shines very nicely. Also all 5 tyres are new, and period correct!!! There are about 75 photographs below, so that you can take a tour of the entire car...from outside to inside. Even the rear and the engine compartments are shown, along with many of the wonderful features and options......please take the time to let all of them load, we're sure that you will be just delighted. The interior is a very Special also. It has glove soft Beige Leather that is super comfortable. This appears to be a non-smokers vehicle that is extra clean inside. As mentioned above, it is all restored with Beautifully refinished wood, and new Leather. And of course a Power sliding glass divider that seperates the rear when desired. You will also notice that the factory tool kit is mostly complete, and is stored under the left side of the dash. To our knowledge, all electrical functions are working properly, with the exception of the radio, which makes static. Please note...... While this car appears to have been completely restored, it is STILL over SIXTY YEARS OLD!!! Please keep this in mind when bidding.
