Vehicle Detail

*****PLEASE NOTE: I am listing this car with LOW RESERVE. If you would like to make an offer please leave a phone number or call me at (917) 749-4302 cell. Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GREAT LOOKING BOLERO RED 1969 CHEVY CAMARO CONVERTIBLE SS 350 TRIBUTE, THAT RUNS/DRIVES BEAUTIFULLY AND IS #S MATCHING WITH LOTS OF FACTORY DOCUMENTATION. VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Please note: wheels pictured are NOT included but can be purchased separately. Vehicle comes with nice wheels and radial tires. FACTORY OPTIONS: Power steering Power convertible top Standard black bucket seat interior w/console Super Sport package (hockey stripes, front and rear spoiler, emblems, appearance trim including rocker moldings, wheel well moldings) Automatic transmission AM radio Vehicle was acquired from an older estate. Purchased new in East Syracuse, NY on June 25th, 1969. Older restoration in the late 1980s and since then it has been stored indoors and driven on occasion. NUMBERS MATCHING drivetrain and virtually all stock except for added SS equipment. Comes with original PROTECT-O-PLATE and DEALER INVOICE when purchased brand new in 69, showing VIN, all options, etc. Interior is in very presentable condition and I believe it's mostly original. No real eye sores, just minor general wear as you would expect of a 40+ year old car. Under the hood is all stock with NO modifications (even has the factory engine holddown straps still there). Starts easily and sounds great. Good stock power overall and brakes stop VERY WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now without major worries, just tune it the way you want and you're ready to go. I've driven it mostly around town here and there and every once in a while on the highway on the way to a cruise night or local show, never on any long trips. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shows fairly well for a good driver, with normal imperfections (small scratches, chips, minor cracking here and there and light fading, appears nicer in pictures). Underside has some scaly surface rust throughout with some small holes in the floors that will need patching. Good trunk. Front bumper has a dent by middle. Lower door corners have a handful of bubbles under the paint, otherwise the rest of the body is very straight and clean with decent/good factory gaps. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A VERY COOL CRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER WITH VERY MINOR TLC. HOP IN AND DRIVE IT WITH THE TOP DOWN AND ENJOY THE WEATHER AND RESTORE IT DOWN THE LINE. THIS IS A GOOD OPTIONED, 1969 CAMARO CONVERTIBLE SS TRIBUTE WITH 46K MILES SHOWING ON THE ODOMETER THAT YOU CAN ENJOY WITH THE TOP DOWN OR KEEP AS PART OF YOUR CLASSIC CRUISER COLLECTION! DRIVE AS IS OR RESTORE IT AS YOU SEE FIT. Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
