Vehicle Detail
This little rare Z50M has been in my basement for at least 15 years waiting for me to restore it, but, don't think that's going to happen so it should go to someone that enjoys these little bikes. I received it in a trade at Mid-Ohio, previous owner was riding it around as I did for the rest of the meet. Since then, it's been in a dry/warm basement. It ran fine then and I will start it prior to shipping to ensure it still does/no reason why it shouldn't. I have over the years puchased all but a few NOS parts to do a high point resto. Did not get an exhaust pipe, but I don't think there is anything else that will be needed. It appears to be a complete little bike with original parts except the taillight - I have the correct one for it (pictured). Rigid front/rear, shifts up for low, down for neutral and the rest of the gears. No title, bill of sale only. Bike is offered "as-is/where-is". Seller will assist buyer in loading or finding a shipper. For Intl buyers, I can get it crate for cost and deliver 50 miles to either a terminal in Dayton or Cincinnati OH for a reasonable fee. Pls don't ask what shipping costs, there are a number of transport companies that you can contact and determine cost to your location/ just google. D & K transport is the company I normally use, but Partriot, and a number of others offer these services. Although the seat is not perfect, I believe it is the original with the correct colors, not like the repos out there - believe it's good enough to keep on since it is the original. A $500 paypal deposit is required within 24 hours of auction close, with the balance to be paid in a manner acceptable to both buyer/seller. The handlebars (new) that I have are early Z50A and look the same except on the right on the lever perch will have to be removed. Engine number is Z50ME (1)00982. The 1 is very faint but I believe it's there. On Feb-28-11 at 05:41:30 PST, seller added the following information: Additional information, the left NOS handlebar is the correct one for the Z50M (no drilled holes), the right one will need the lever perch removed to be correct.
