Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1972 Suzuki GT750 "Water Buffalo". This is the highlight of a collection we acquired here in Florida. We have listed quite a few pictures to show you the bike totally, but as always the pictures may make the bike look better than it does in person. Having said that, this bike is really nice. I'll describe some of the things that you may not be able able to see in the photos ( both good and not so good). First off, the bike starts up easily and does shift through the gears smoothly. We have changed the oil, added a new battery and a new chain. As you can see the front wheel is NOT original. The previous owner changed over to dual disc brakes. The original bike came with a front drum brake. The instrament panel is in decent shape, with only a couple of scratches in the plastic face. By the way, don't let the higher miles throw you off..the motor (in our opinion) has had a little work done to it because it really runs very well for a bike with higher miles. All the electrics work well, and the cables are all intact. However the front caliper does stick a bit and may need servicing. The inside of the gas tank is decent as well and may only need a slight cleaning down the road. As you can see the original paint is in really good condition. There are a a couple a spots where the paint has a bubble in it, and some scratches on the side panels however the paint overall is very nice. The chrome on the fenders really cleaned up well and looks good. The seat is also in great condition with no tears in it. As far as the tires go...they do show some wear but hold air and depending on your use of the bike may need to be replaced in the future. Another highlight of this beauty are the original pipes. The chrome again cleaned up well and overall they look really good. There is however a small dent in the right side upper pipe and some discoloration where something was spilled on the pipes. Having said that, original pipes always make a classic like this stand out in a crowd. Additionally, this bike comes with some great pieces of documentation. We will include the original vehicle order, and bill of sale from the dealer it was purchased from here in Orlando, Florida. (dated 2-1-1972 and 3-16-1972 respectively) Also we have the original title. With a little TLC this piece of Suzuki history will make a great addition to your collection, weekend rider, or even a daily driver. If we can help in any way please email us ane we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for looking and good luck.
