Vehicle Detail

50th Year Anniversary BMW R-60/2 This BMW R60/2 with the spezial side car by BMW was owned by the actor and famous Dick Smothers of the "Smothers Brothers" comedy team. It was originally owned by Bud Ekin from his collection of motorcycles, a famous Los Angeles stunt driver. He drove a triumph 65O motorcycle in the movie "The Great Escape" and a Ford mustang car in the movie "Bullet". There are famous stories told about this motorcycle with Bud driving and Dick in the spezial side car from Dick. It is in good condition and runs but could use some minor work. It has just had valve head caskets replaced to the twin boxer engine along with metzler front and new rear block tire. I am asking a firm $19,995.00 as is. It is a lucky find for a true BMW collector or fan and is an antique.
