Vehicle Detail
1982 Honda V45 Magna In the early and mid 80s Honda developed a new engine design for their street use motorcycle line. This engine produced a lot of horsepower and enough torque to make the rider hold on tight if they got too "happy" twisting the throttle grip. These motorcycles were, and still are, very powerful and fast, but they also provide the rider with a lot of comfort, clean crisp handling, superb braking ability, and easy maintenance routine. Their reliability is renowned, as they offered liquid engine cooling (NO overheating) and elimination of the messy oil slinging chain for the more reliable automotive type shaft drive. These two innovations made an already stable reliable machine even better and reduced the time required for routine maintenance to almost zero. These machines developed a large fellowship of riders that enjoyed and appreciated the style, comfort, and ease of use they provided. There are many today that still value these motorcycles, and they are highly valued in today's motorcycle market. Up for auction is a fine example of just such a motorcycle, a 1982 V45 Honda Magna. There were three different engine size models offered. The smallest was the V30 (approximately 500cc) that produced 60 bhp, the V45 (approximately 750cc) with around 75 horsepower, and the V65 (approximately 1100cc) making almost 100 horsepower. This auction is for a low mileage (2026 miles) V45. It is owned and maintained by a qualified and reputable motorcycle and auto mechanic. It is a great running machine that starts easily and runs perfectly. There are no fluid leaks of any kind or any indications of any problem. All electrics work as they should. The transmission and driveshaft work smoothly and quietly through all the gears with no slipping or grinding at any time. The disc brakes are superb at bringing the bike to a smooth straight stop at all speeds. There is no vibration from the drivetrain or tires and wheels. There is no indication the bike ha ever been dropped or turned over. There are no scratches or scuffs or damage of any kind on the bikes paint, chrome or upholstery. It is a clean great running machine with a lot of years to give the new owner a lot of riding enjoyment. Don't let this one get away! Summertime is coming soon and this would be a great way to enjoy the pleasure of motorcycling for a small investment! A non refundable deposit of $500.00 is due by one of these methods within 72 hours of auctions end or after using the Buy It Now option with the balance due within 7 days of auction end.
