1979 CHEVROLET C20 3/4 TON CUSTOM DELUXE PICK-UP TRUCK - NO RESERVE This was my everyday driver until very recently. I just transfered the insurance off it today. This was a very good truck for me but I have too many vehicles so now is the time to sell it. It has a 350 engine that runs strong with no funny noises like ticking, pinging, or knocking. The carborater seems to work like it should. The transmission was profesionally rebuilt fall 2010. I believe it to be a 400 turbo. I had $250. in brake work done on December 2010. Has quiet dual exaust that ends in front of the rear axel. Drives down the road nice. Front end seems good. The frame is solid. Has a bumper hitch, will pull anything you can leagally pull down the road. Has a very nice seat in it with no tares.Has dual gas tanks but gas guage only works on the main tank. Has over fifty dollars worth of gas in it. Three tires match and are in very good condition. One rear tire is ok to run awhile and does not match the other 3 good tires. You will get no junk or garbage in the box. There is a plastic tool box and a bed liner. Has an extra set of wheel covers in the toolbox. This truck has a clear title in hand and has the liscence plates just renued last month. THE BAD NEWS The truck does have body rust as can be seen in the pictures. The hood is weak but not bent yet. ( If you look at this truck by yourself PLEASE DO NOT bend my hood; it is weak at the hinge like these years do).The tool box and bed liner are nothing to write home about. The big plastic box does not go with. I can not get the engine to start. I put new plugs in it and still didn't start. I put a new cap and roter on it. Don't start. The cap I got is poor quality and pissed me off. Real cheap feeling in your hand. Might be the coil; it looked pretty rusty. I have other cars to drive and I am tired of fooling with it. My lazyness is your large gain. The battery may or may not be charged. I have been cranking on it. I charged it once while working on it. This truck has no reserve so the highest bidder gets it. I recommend you check this truck out in person before you buy or bid on it. It is a great hassle to deal with non-paying bidder red tape.
