1967 Pontiac Firebird, 117k original mileage,was purchased from original owner about 5 years ago. It was completely original, 326 with a 2 barrel carb, 3 speed standard on the floor, manual drum brakes and manual steering. Car was restored and upgraded after purchase. Car now has freshened original engine ( rings,bearings, oil pump, cam, lifters, valve job, gaskets, etc.) upgraded to edelbrock performer intake with electric choke 600cfm edelbrock carb. Replaced manual trans with a fresh rebuilt th350 w shift kit. Added power steering and brakes. All mods and repairs done with reliability and comfort of driving in mind. Body was originaly yellow with black interior and black top. Body was stripped and dissasembled, only rot in car was on the lip of quarters. 2 new rear quarters installed, doors and fenders are original. All floors are original and nice, one very small patch on drivers side pan. paint color now is 67 pontiac montreux blue, dupont base/clear. Interior has fresh recovered front seats and original back seat, new carpet and a auto shifter and console from a camaro. Top in great shape, no wear or rips. Bumpers, emblems, door handles , etc all new. Car runs great, very reliable and always garaged. It has been on a few long road trips, decent on gas too. Selling because it sits more than its used.
