Vehicle Detail

1955 F-100 Street/ Rat Rod What you are viewing here is a Father/ Son Project that has never been brought to completion. The Son is involved with too many sports at school leaving us absolutely no time to finish this baby! The condition of the truck is as follows: Cab, hood, fenders, bumpers, running boards, tail gate and bed are all straight showing only surface rust. The cab corners (which are known to rot) have already been replaced. The frame of the truck has a 1970 Chevelle/ Malibu subframe grafted in place which will lower the ride height, add power front disc brakes, add power steering and independent suspension for a smoother better handling ride(getting rid of that infamous "bump steer" syndrome that the stock suspensions are notorious for). The frame can accept a Chevy or Ford small or big block engine. I have the weld-on adapters to accept the big block Ford 429/460. My plan was to install the 429 which is included in this auction, which I'll mention later. According to the previous owner this truck has always been in California, attributing to it not being a "Rust Bucket" that you find out in the woods in some of your wet-weather states. I think I probably have about 80% of the parts to bring this truck to be the Beast that I intended it to be. I'm including several pictures of the body parts. If more pictures are needed I can take and email more upon request. If you look at the pictures you'll see the powder coated frame with the symetrical 9" rearend housing(don't find them like this anymore) and check out the Big Fat tires(need replacing) that tuck underneath the stock fenders. The rear wheels are attached to 28-spline axles but I do have a pair of Moser 31-spline axles(with long race studs) that will go with the truck. I have a built 3.91:1 Simulated Drag-Pak Positraction rearend that will not go with the auction. Will sell it for an extra $900. Truck is set up for 4spd with stock brake and clutch pedals.Comes with rebuilt T-10 4spd manual transmission coupled to a Lakewood Bullet-proof Scatter Shield. Brake lines have been partially plumbed. Comes wilth a Wilwood Proportioning Valve and 7" Brake Vacuum Booster and an early 80's Corvette Master Cylinder. It has the bracket that mounts the vacuum booster and master cylinder underneath the floorboard just where the stock master would be so it can be accessed via the removable cover plate just inside the drivers door floorboard. The subframe has the brackets welded on so it can accept the stock front bumper and radiator core support. The bedsides have been radiused(arched) to accept the fat tires in the back. Oh, and did I mention, it comes with the brackets from No-Limit Engineering that will convert the rear axle from drum bakes to disc brakes. Has a Chevy tilt steering wheel column and I do believe I have a Grant 14" Steering wheel for it. Have the stainless steel Custom Cab trim and a set of VDO guages.Theres probably even some items that I'm not mentioning that will go with auction as well. Now, what makes this deal Sweet is this Monster Ford 429 Engine. Thousands upon thousands spent on this! Engine comes not assembled(that way you can see exactly what you're getting). I will list as much as I can: 1969 Machined Short Block +.060 1969 Steel Heads - ported and polished, port-matched to intake manifold, machined to accept Super Cobra Jet Big 2.20" intake valves, 3 angle valve job, hardened seats.(many $$)! 10/10 Steel Crank, micro polished, oil holes schamfered. My reserve is less than half the money spent on these parts and machine work. All of this could be yours for a fraction of what I paid for it! Note: This Project is for someone who posesses the skill and ability to restore a vehicle from the ground up, so think before you bid! Please note: winning bidder is solely responsible for the pick up and transporting of this vehicle to his location. The rolling chasis is located at my in-laws house in Riverside and everything else is located at my home in Perris, CA(approx. 12 miles apart). Vehicle obviously not in driving condition so it will need to be towed. I will coordinate my time with yours to assist you with loading so, PLEASE DON'T WASTE MY TIME! As this is a used vehicle there are no warranties issued with this transaction. All sales are final. Vehicle was last registered in 1981. California Pink Slip comes with the truck.
