1965 ford f-100 short stepside 302 auto i bought this truck to fix up too many projects. I heard it run but did not drive it it needs alot of work but is all small things wiring ,tires, alt is missing, tires are bad,throttle cable is bad and more i havent worked on it yet. The truck is very straight almost rust free minus a couple small spots could be a cool truck when done and the body,glass,crome and main components are there.On Feb-18-11 at 20:33:47 PST, seller added the following information: I will take all the pics you want or answer any questions on this truck.On Feb-23-11 at 10:31:48 PST, seller added the following information: Was out working on truck had it running but had to dump fuel in carb. Motor sounds real good no ticks or anything minus some exhaust leaks unless you want big hp this thing will be fine it sounded better than i expected. Plan to put a fuel pump on unless i do it before auction ends. Also lights, signals, wipers, fan dash lights all worked i think this was a driver that got parked because on finances. On Feb-25-11 at 16:08:22 PST, seller added the following information: Last update found cracked hose between fuel pump and fuel line all fixed. It is pumping fuel fine carb needs to be cleaned or rebuilt it runs but is lean and quits after so long unless you rev it up some. Added some trans oil and it went into gear and moved so trans can be saved and rearend sounded fine. There is more to this truck than i thought and it still needs work but know its down to minor stuff. Carb,wiring,alt., paint and other little things. Body ,trans, rearend, glass, chrome, motor, gauges are all good. On Feb-25-11 at 21:12:03 PST, seller added the following information: One more i was checking out rust spots for a guy that called there are 2 smaller spots on core support on inside under fender right under light cup about the size of a silver dollar. And after pulling carpet back the floorboards have been patched over it is hard to tell how bad the rust was because someone covered it from the top and bottom so i cant see any rust and no rust is showing around patch but i am sure there was some or they wouldnt have covered it. If any one bidding wants me to take covers off and inspect let me know and i can do it saturday afternoon.
