In the off chance that you've stumbled across this out of curiousity or humor, I'll entertain you with the details. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING CAREFULLY, if you are looking for a brand new, luxurious, sports car, this is NOT the one for you!!! If an uber reliable gas miser is what you desire, however, then look no further!! You've found it here. It has a clear transferrable title. I bought this car for myself because I know the benefits and value of these vehicles in good condition. I traveled for work and needed reliable transportation that wouldn't kill me at the pump. I really lucked out when I found this. It's not a hybrid but gets comparable fuel economy at a fraction of the price. The previous owner had it painted. Not the greatest paint job but it does look great for the year. I am selling this as is, where is. It has served me very well. In the past few months it has taken me to FL twice, (costing only $54 in gas each way) and up to ME, saving money all the way and back :) Why in the world sell it then? We've enjoyed it thoroughly but have outgrown it. It runs & drives great. It is a 3 cylinder 5 speed. No A/C. Never had it. This baby was built to save fuel. No frills, no thrills. ...unless saving money thrills you, in which case this vehcle is all thrills. All necessary service and routine maintenance has been done recently (plugs, cap, rotor, wires, tires, headlights, water pump, timing belt, and a few other parts I'm certain I'm forgetting right now). THE GOOD== It's a well kept 93 Metro. All it does is save money!! Spectacular fuel economy. Dependable as they come. It runs, shifts and drives as it should. Starts up every time in any weather. The engine has no oil leaks or overheating issues, clutch feels good, transmission shifts well. It is driven regularly. It's clean inside. No cracks in the dash. The carpet is in good condition. Seats are clean with no tears or stains except a seam tear on the driver's seat surface, as pictured. No foul smells. NON smoking vehicle. It has NEVER BEEN WRECKED. All lights & indicators work, inside & out. Tires are in good shape, 13s. >80% tread left. Handled NY's harsh winter and tons of snow with ease. The spare is brand new. Brakes are good. All door handles inside and outside work. Interior cabin light works with the switch only, it does not light up when you open the doors. Doors lock automatically after you drive 5 miles per hour. Emergency brake works as it should. THE NOT SO GOOD=== It's an 18yr old Metro, not a brand new Cadillac. With that in mind, it's everything it should be and nothing it shouldn't. The dome light does not light up when opening the doors, but it does turn on with the switch. I don't have any service records prior to my purchase. The front driver's side signal light is slightly cracked (as shown in pic). It was backed into in a parking lot. The driver's side interior door handle is prone to breaking and will need to be replaced soon. It works but is loose. The driver's side window jumps off track occasionally though it is easily corrected. I'm listing all I can think of so there are no surprises. All in all it's a great vehicle. Anyone with reasonable expectations will be very pleased with the condition & performance of this automobile. Anyone is welcome to come & view/test drive before bidding/purchasing.
