Just in time for Spring! Looking to treat yourself or that someone special to a sharp convertible. This C-70 is powered by a turbocharged 2.4 L 5 cyl. 190 hp engine. It is an automatic with that ever reliable powertrain that Volvo is known for worldwide. The convertible top raises and lowers with the touch of a button and has a glass window for a cleaner view. It has a premium sound system with cd player (coded), passenger and driver side airbag restraints, AC blows cold, leather interior, cruise control, ABS, power seats and locks, windows and mirrors, tilt steering, alarm and keyless entry. The exterior is in very good shape with the exception of a small crease in the body below the driver's side door and some small cracks in the bumper paint on about a 4" spot on the right side middle. Pictures barely show these defects. Paint is clean and shines bright when washed. I have touch up pain that I have used on occassion for those little rock dings that inevitably happen. There are no mechanical issues with the engine or transmission. Runs and shifts smoothly. The convertible top is in good condition with the exception of one small spot about 1-1/2 inch in diameter right above the driver's side window (see pic). The interior is in very good shape. The seats are comfortable leather with slight surface cracks but no tears or holes. I use two genuine sheepskin covers (pictured) on the front seats for comfort in the winter. I will include these in the sale. They cost $100.00 a piece. The dashboard is in original condition (see pics). Simulated wood trim accents set the interior off nicely. When I bought the car I researched the carfax reports and discovered that it had been involved in collision several years ago. It was repaired and has run well for years afterward so that did not deter me. You will have to decide for yourself if that is an issue in buying. The check engine light stays lit. I have had several maintenance repairs done on this car to keep it running well. I replaced the ABS module, turbo boost pressure module, brakes on all four wheels, new alternator, new battery, new drive belt, new coolant reservoir. With the Volvo, and the sophisticated sensor system it has, every little thing sets the check engine light off. A bulb out indicator comes on when lights are turned on and for the life of me I cannot find the burned out bulb. I have the original owners manual and original sticker, The tires are about 50% and could safely be driven to wherever you live and for quite some time afterward. The buyer is responsible for either picking the car up or making shipping arrangements if needed. I require a $500.00 (US dollars) deposit with Pay Pal within 48 hours of the close of the sale. Full payment of the balance due will be required within (7) seven days of the close of auction with cash or cashiers check. This car is fun to drive on those warm summer days and nights. My wife has a new car now so we are letting the Volvo go to a new home. Please consider that the pictures and descriptions are provided in order to best describe the vehicle as it truely appears.
