1976 Ford Gran Torino Starsky&Hutch Factory car,1 of 1000 produced,this is car #770. Underwent a 2 year complete body off restoration and no expense was spared. Currently has 4200 miles on it since completion in 2009. Have the Marti report documenting the car and also cowl tag is intact as well as door jamb tag. I am the third owner and previous owner had it since 1983. Original quarter panel car with no rust or patchwork. Engine- 351W, original engine was not able to be saved. It currently has a 351W lighting roller block that's stroked to 427cid. All forged internals with full roller comp cam and valvetrain. Heads are iron world products victor senior's. Engine is fuel injected using Mass Flo system based off the trusty 5.0 mustang mass air computer. Tuned with a chip and runs beautiful!! 20+mpg on the highway!! Transmission-Another trusty 5.0 piece, the AOD overdrive transmission. Has a mild B&M stall converter and also a hardened input shaft. Shifts flawlessly. Rearend-Original rear for the car.Upgraded to traclok unit with 3.50 gears. Options-PS,PB,Factory power windows,Factory A/C, Facory tilt column,Rear Defrost,intermittent wipers,aftermarket cruise control,deluxe map light,NOS clock converted to quartz movement,NOS police 140mph speedometer,Front and rear factory swaybars.NOS Dual remote racing mirrors. Interior-black, was switched to bucket seats from bench seat using factory floor shifter with NOS handle and console. Bucket seats are from a 1998 cobra mustang,black leather and drivers seat is working power seat.Rear seat is the original and flawless.Seperate tach,oil,amp, temp guages mounted under glove box to monitor engine vitals and all in green digital display. Stereo-Has original am/fm unit in dash, but I decided to install a secret radio hidden system with remote control. Has a four way kenwood speaker system with amp and really rocks!! Lots of NOS parts went into the resto including all the lights and bezels,side marker lights,all emblems,all bumper guard inserts and strips,door handles,mirrors,antenna, deluxe map light, dash vents,dash plaque insert,rear sway bar end links, Grille and vertical chrome bars. Painted in original 2B red with clearcoat.Painted like factory with white stripe first and then the red.
