Full Recaro 4 way seating. Power Seats, Power Windows, Power sunroof.. This car is top of the line everything and way ahead of technology at its time. I have a full list of things that have been purchased, replaced, and serviced. Main services done are: Timing Chain at 67k, plus tensioner, clutch disk, throwout bearing, rear engine seal at the same time. I just replaced the Catalytic Converter and smogged it in the last month with current registration until Feb 2012 Only Flaws of the car: On the spoiler there is a little spot that looks like someone pressed to hard with their thumb since it is a soft spoiler. On the hood there is normal wear and tear of small chips in the front but nothing out of the normal. The fan switch for the heater and AC only moves to the second position for some reason, so low and medium low fan speed work and the defroster to use full speed works. I haven't looked into that problem to see the exact problem cause i don't use the heater or anything usually. 16v differences: Due to their performance, the 16 valve cars were different from the other 190 models. The body kit on the 2.3-16 and 2.5-16 reduced the drag coefficient to 0.32, one of the lowest CD values on a four door saloon of the time, whilst also reducing lift at speed. The steering ratio was quicker and the steering wheel smaller than that on other 190s, whilst the fuel tank was enlarged from 55 to 70 L. The Getrag 5-speed manual gearbox was unique to the 16 valve and featured a 'racing' gear pattern with 'dog-leg' first gear, left and down from neutral. This meant that the remaining 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gears were in a simple H pattern allowing fast and easy selection. The strictly four-seater interior had Recaro sports seats with strong side bolsters for front and rear passengers. 3 extra dials - an oil temperature gauge, stopwatch and voltmeter. All 2.3-16 valve 190 models are fitted with a Limited Slip Differential (LSD) as standard. The suspension on 16 valve models is very different from the standard 190 (W201). As well as being lower and stiffer, it has quicker dampers, larger anti-roll bars, harder bushings and hydraulic Self-Levelling Suspension (SLS) on the rear. This allows the rear ride height to remain constant even when the car is fully loaded. I purchased the car from a family friend of mine that was the second owner for the last 10 years and has always been garaged. I am now the third owner and can not afford to have multiple vehicles anymore at this time. I do not want to sell this car but this is an opportunity for another enthusiast to get a low mileage cosworth. IT IS the buyers responsibility to figure out shipping from San Jose, CA.
