Re-listed with no reserve. This is not a true Super Sport but a very close clone. The car has been tastefully and gently modified to a late 60's muscle street car. This car is super clean, fun, exciting to drive comfortable and safe to be in. The engine is a 2006 GM performance 454 Cubic Inch crate motor purchased new for this project with less than 2500 actual miles to date. The engine has and was not modified from the crate. The engine compartment looks great. The engine is equipped with a genuine GM performance serpentine belt package. The transmission is a professionally built TH400. It has a professionally built GM 12 bolt differential with 3.73 gears and an Eaton posi unit. The axles are from Strange Engineering. The exhaust system is Hooker ceramic coated super comp headers, GM turbo mufflers and has an integral balance pipe. The car with closed exhaust is not that loud just an unmistakable deep muscle car sound. Not shown in the photos is a B&M mega shifter that has replaced the column shifter. The car has GM factory power front disc brakes and power steering. All four coil springs have been replaced along with the shocks. The rims are new chrome plated Corvette style rally wheels by Wheel Vintiques. All four radial tires are brand new. The bumpers are just back from the chrome plate shop. In addition the under front bumper valence was chrome plated along with the headlight eyebrows and dummy front corner marker lights. The paint on the car is twenty years old and has never been in the rain or snow and always kept in a climate controlled garage. The paint color is the original ermine white. When painted the body was striped to bare metal. New rear quarters were installed. The black vinyl top is new. At that time a new windshield was installed and the rear window removed tinted and replace. The car is water tight. The body of the car is not flawless but considered very nice. There is no sign of rust but the original re-paint prep work was not show quality. The interior is new and done in the original factory blue and with the original floral cloth and vinyl pattern. New carpet and headliner have been installed. The dash pad has been re-covered to original. The dash nor the interior has any modifications. The original AM radio is still in the dash. An after-market AM/FM tape player was added but attached under the dash as to not destroy the original dash cut outs. The tach, volt, oil and temperature gauges are genuine GM performance gage packs. Where ever possible GM restoration or reproduction parts where used. The car is sold as is and where is. Bidders are encouraged to ask questions, view or request additional photos. The car is very clean solid and ready to be driven anywhere and at anytime. The car has a current Virginia state inspection sticker. Pick up and delivery are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
