You are bidding on a 2000 Dodge Intrepid 4D, V6 2.7L Engine, has 69,846 original miles; 2nd owner...car was given to me by my 75 yr old father in law; clean title (not rebuilt); cold A/C, Power windows & locks; AM/FM/CD, 8-speaker system, cruise control, power driver seat; tinted windows, car does run & drive and is in overall fair condition with the following flaws: Mechanical: Ø Loud engine chatter & knocking sound due to suspected timing chain tensioner failure. A mechanic inspected the engine and stated without opening it up, he could not make an accurate diagnosis or estimate but felt that was likely the problem. I did my research on internet that matches problem incurred. Once detected, vehicle was parked to prevent further damage to other internal engine components. Engine runs and car drives fine. Ø Check Engine Warning Light is illuminated Ø Windshield defroster not operational Ø Brakes feel a little cushy but functional with no grinding. Exterior: Ø Hood has small dent & scratch (photo included) Ø Hood alignment off due to above damage (photo included) Ø Rear Bumper, left side has scoff mark & scratch Ø Tires do not match and have approx 20% tread wear remaining Ø Car has several small scratches & nicks from normal wear & tear on a 11 yr old vehicle Ø Headlight lens hazing but recently polished Interior: Ø LF and RR power windows not operational Ø RF and RR power door locks not operational Ø Power seat works but is noisy during operation Ø Rear bench seat has rip on left side (photo included) Ø Some interior Fabric on doors starting to fall off Ø Dual Courtesy Lights in above console not operational Ø Automatic Speed Sensitive Door Lock System needs repair I tried to identify all flaws but I’m not a mechanic and don’t want to put any more money into this car. I have all receipts since new; as my father in law gave me them to me and I also put $2,600 into it since Nov-09 including synthetic oil changes. Item(s) sold as is with NO refunds or guarantees.
