1965 Buick SkyLark - 46,105 original miles!! The Good: Factory 300 cubic inch V8, factory four-barrel, 250 horses, factory 2 speed Super Turbine 300 automatic. The original a/c blows cold!! Everything is original except tires, rims & fresh coat of gold paint. Rims are from 1965 Buick Skylark GS. The original "wingnut" hubcaps are in trunk & go with the car & are hard to find. No rust on this car. Trunk is perfect & comes with spare, original jack & lug wrench. Original AM radio works perfect. All windows perfect. All doors, hood, trunk open & close perfect - no misalignment. All lights perfect, original headliner perfect, front dash & rear dash are all original & in great shape for being 46 years old. Front floor mat original & perfect condition. Car has always been garaged The Bad: There is a small notch on the front of the hood that goes in 1/4 of an inch. The bumper was not touched. There was a small amount of rust that was starting at the base of the rear glass. It was sanded out & repaired with silicon & painted over. Not the best fix, but seriously, is very very minor. There is no trunk mat in the trunk. I think this is missing because the mats can hold moisture & this trunk has no rust what-so-ever. The rear 2 floor mats are missing, 46 years old & were coming apart. Bench seat on the driver side has small opening on the side facing the door. Opening is about 2 inches long. These are all the problems I can find - not bad for being all original & 46 years old!! On Feb-16-11 at 17:48:02 PST, seller added the following information: just a note: This car has never been mechanically repaired or rebuilt . . . has been pampered since new. Car is so quiet & vibration free, you'll think it cut off while turning. Shifts smooth into 2nd at about 35mph. Engine completely smoke free, leaks zero oil. All original stickers (door jam, on trunk, air breather, etc.) are there. I don't mean new stickers, I mean original. This car drives perfect, quiet, smooth, straight. I've owned lots of classic cars & this one is gorgeous!! I hate to see it go, but I've got to make room.
