1940 Ford coupe project needs total restore, the suspension is a 1980 corvette front and rear the frame on the 40 was cut and welded to the vette front so disc brakes power steering with the chevy v-8 mounts could be used. The rear all mounting brakets were cut off of the vette so it could be welded back on the 40 frame, the frame arch on the rear of the cars were close enough to do it so it will have posi disc independent rear. The frame was lined up & welded in place made into a roller but more welding is needed!!!!! body of the 40 is sitting on the frame to check line up. All the body panels,doors ,fenders etc.need some work but are all usable.No glass threw it away.Car has all interior window garnish, door regulators, nice dash,original seat, new rocker panels & numerous small parts.The floor is partially removed & firewall is great shape never cut it yet for the V-8. also have the vette steering column. probably forgot something so e-mail any ?'s Please bid to win shipping is up to the buyer will help load.
