Vehicle Detail

This may be the best Bi-Turbo for the money, this car has had everything gone through on it by the previous owner who had Stewarts Automotive (a British /Italian car independent service facility in Sacramento Ca) basically do a mechanical restoration. We have reciepts going back to 2006 that total over $27000.00 in repairs! Yes you read that correctly $27K has been spent on this car! I am not going to write out everything by line item that has been done, I will however go over the major things that have been gone through. We have records of everthing listed and more, I’ll start with the most significant. 7/05/2006 35,678 miles, Speedometer and tachometer repaired & misc -Speedometer replaced -Tachometer Replaced -Motor mounts replaced -Misc engine hoses -AC serviced -Oil Changed -Alternator replaced -Replace trunk struts -Replace fuel door release motor -Replace steering shaft u-joint -Lock Motor -Brake fluid flushed with ATE blue brake fliud 9/08/2006 35,731 miles, Brakes, Shocks & misc -Reseal rear calipers -Replace rear brake pads -Resurface rear rotors -Replace front and rear shocks -Replace right front window regulator -Replace trip odometer -Replace rear end coupler 3/12/2007 39,160 miles, Engine and transmission rebuilt Engine -replaced Crankshaft -Valve job and adjustment -Surface heads -Hone block inspect line bore -Inpect and recondition rods -Clean and mic pistions -Clean and polish Crank -Hot tank all parts -New main and rod bearings -Ring Set -Ignition wires -All fluids replaced (synthetic oil, coolant, AC recharged, ETC) Transmission -Seal kit -Fork -Output Bearing -Rear main shaft bearing -Counter shaft bearing -Input shaft bearing -Syncros 1,2,3 -Syncros 4,5 -Trans mount -Pressure plate -Clutch disc -Release bearing -Differential pinion seal -Stabilizer end link There is more, but it starts being smaller items like Catalytic converter replaced, vacume hoses, foam hood pad, left window regulator, and so on. I hope this speaks to the care and effort that the previous owner had to keep this Maserati up to par. This car works extremely well and anything that needed attention has been done using a spare no expense attitude. PLEASE NOTE, the speedometer is currently showing 14,209 miles, this is not the total mileage on the vehicle as the speedometer and odometer have been replaced as noted above, 49K miles is the mileage after adding what was on the odometer at time of replacement and what the car shows now (again, we have the record for this). The cosmetics of this car are equally impressive for an Italian car that is 27 years old. At some point the entire car was repainted the factory white and it was a pretty good job, the paint is reflective and consistent throughout all the panels with no visible rust anywhere in the body. It has the original wheels that are in decent shape with no curb rash, however, all of them could use a refinish as the bright silver paint has faded a bit. The interior appears to be all original and has faired rather well, especially the suede inserts on the dash and the headliner. The leather on the center armrest is a bit worn and there is some minor cracking on the top edge of the door panels, but overall I would rate the interior at least an 8. The rear sunshades still work, all of the seatbelts are intact and work, the windows operate like new, all of the gauges work, and the aftermarket Kenwood CD powers the surprisingly good sounding stock Zender Maserati speakers. The AC is currently not operating but we expect a recharge would solve this as most of the AC system has recently been replaced. The front spoiler has a hole in it about the size of a golfball, see picture below. So if you are a child of the eighties and you want a piece of the Italian flair that is related to the Reagan era, this is a great car for you. There isn’t anywhere else you will get a car bearing the famous trident for such a bargain, especially being that this particular example has been put back to almost new mechanical condition! We are happy to assist with shipping this car anywhere in the world at the buyers expense, do not bid on this car if you have negative or zero feedback without contacting us first if you do we will cancel your bid. Please call Luxury Motorcars with any questions 916-455-4556, all answers to questions will be posted under the photos, please look to see if we have answered your question there before asking. Thanks for looking! This is a no reserve auction, high bidder wins!
