Hello, bid on this item only if you intend on paying for it. Ebay is not a game, it costs time and money to list on Ebay. If you have less than 10 feedbacks your bid will be cancelled, sorry but do to past experiences that's how it has to be. If you can find a friend that trusts you with their Ebay reputation bid using their identity. Feel free to ask questions, I'm not a motorcycle expert, but I'll do my best to describe this item accurately. If there are specific parts you need to know the condition of just ask, if is hard to list every little detail. I can only tell you what I see wrong with this, I do not have X-ray vision. Look closely at the photos and ask questions. No games please read auction rules and only bid if you are going to pay. Just because you are the high bidder doesn't mean you get the item....you have to pay for it too! This is a a mid 60's 305 superhawk. The title says 69' but back in the day these were sometimes dated the year they sold. The did not make the superhawk that late. This will come with an open title ( signed by previous but not dated) This is fresh out of a 30 year indoor storage. It only has 11,000 + miles. I cleaned the bike up a little to help show the condition better but this is still more cleaning to do. The nice thing about this one is it is still red and not faded as most are. I put in a new high quality Yuasa battery, plugs and added gas and she came back to life. The motor sounds good with no blue smoke or bad noises. When revving this up the it takes a little more time to return to normal idle, but that is probably just the slides sticking and they may stop with a little use. I did test ride this and the clutch and gears worked fine. The brakes felt a little stiff like they needed to have their cables or greese fittings lubed. Horn and electric start works fine. Tach is working but was making a little growling noise so I disconnected the cable until it can be lubed. I put in a NOS headlight and trim ring but it doesn't light. I guess I should have tested the bulb 1st or maybe a wire came off during the install. As for the flaws I see....right badge is missing, bobbed front fender, a couple very small dings in right chrome tank cover, crack in left sidecover, patches on right muffler, slight kink in handle bars ( when riding the feel fine), seat trim damage ( crack on right side) As for the good stuff....Running with title, red color, nice seat, nice rims, tank clean inside, good sounding motor. Overall this is a nice survivor. It is not all faded and beat. This would be nice to restore or just enjoy as it is. Check out this video to better show the condition of this item..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQgZ-SPZAAw Well that's all I can think of, so ask questions if there is something I didn't cover. Thanks for looking, and check out my other auctions please! Full payment due in 5 days. Check my feedback and bid with confidence! This is old and being sold AS IS, there is no guarantee, waranty or return policy but I'm sure you'll be satisfied with this one. Shipping costs and arrangements are the buyer's responsibility. If you do not agree with these terms then do not bid....it is that simple. Thanks Jim
