Ask for location ALL PICTURES OF THE MODEL SEEN IN THE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN IN *THIS CAR* Hello, Up for sale is my 1982 Mercedes Benz RWD 380SEL.. This is the 4 door, non-convertible model. It has 138,265 original miles on it.This car is priced to MOVE quickly. You may recognize this car from craigslist. I have not had time to communicate with interested parties and do test drives because the car is NOT insured. You can come hear it run, but I cannot allow test drives. Sorry.. My time is very limited, and this car must go ASAP. I will do my best to describe all good and bad items so you know what you will be buying!!! Interior is MINT. Everything works - power seat, cruise control, power windows, sunroof. New battery. Just changed oil with Pennzoil High Mileage at 138,100 (8.5 Quarts) .. AC Blows ICE COLD, Heat is desert hot. Has very luxurious leather interior with no rips or tears.. Needs a radio! Speedometer/odometer stopped functioning recently. Luxurious ash trays in rear door panels that have never been used. Original owner's name even etched into the glovebox, that is how ahead of the time this car was.. Motor runs strong.. Sometimes takes a few cranks to get it started, but once it gets running and idles for a moment the car will run smoothly from there-on-out. The vehicle is harder to start in cold weather. The vehicle needs a warm up sensor, this is what is causing these issues. Has 95% tread all around 14" Sumitumo tires on it. Quarter panels have suffered from a little rust typical of a car this age (email me for more detailed pics). Nothing that is beyond repair though. Some rust has developed on passenger side front door as well. Needs rear rotors/pads also. Car was purchased from second owner for a photo shoot - Photographer is a family friend and donated the car to me. I love the car but I need something that can tow. Has a crack in the windshield, but not in direct line of vision. NJ State inspection valid until 9/2012!!! This car is a classic, and can be registered as such in NJ. You can put QQ plates (Historic) on it, get historic insurance, and be exempt from state inspections if you wish not to re-inspect this car ever again.
