This is an absolutely outstanding museum-quality 1979 Cadillac Coupe deVille with only 51,573 original miles. This has to be one of the finest examples of a 1979 Coupe deVille anywhere in the USA. This car makes you look twice at it- you truly cannot believe how nice it really is. This car is all-original. The only part of the car that isn't factory original are the beautiful genuine wire wheels. These wheels have the Cadillac emblem in the center and were installed only 4000 miles ago at a cost of $2100. This car carries what is believed to be all-original paint. That is, the car appears to have had no paintwork or bodywork to the best of our determination. The paint is a gorgeous red and the body is completely straight, clean and superb. There are no dings or dents of any consequence, and the car is pristinely clean without even the slightest speck of rust anywhere. The underside of the car is just as beautiful- it is clean and excellent. The chrome is in excellent condition also. I do not believe you could ever find a cleaner or more original example of this car- it is truly outstanding. This car has never seen salt or snow since new. It has always been kept in climate-controlled storage. The interior of the car has white leather seats in outstanding condition. The seats aren't dry, worn or cracked- they look nearly like new. The carpets and upholstery are superb- you cannot find fault with the interior. The plastics and dash are in excellent condition as well. This car starts, runs and drives flawlessly. The engine is the 425ci (7.0L) which was a fantastically reliable and very powerful unit. The transmission shifts perfectly and all of the electrical accessories and options work perfectly. There are absolutely no known mechanical or electrical problems. This car can be driven anywhere. Even the radio is the original Cadillac unit with digital display, with AM/FM and tape. The air conditioning has been converted to R134a and the compressor cycles when it is turned on. However, this car is stored in our building which is approx 60 degrees, which is too cold to tell if the A/C blows cold. I have every reason to believe that it works very well though. Under the hood is superbly clean- it looks like you could eat off the engine. The car doesn't leak any fluids. We have the original owner's manual for the car. This is an outstanding collector's car in pristine condition. You will not find another one like this anywhere. The only faults I can find are these- there is one or two small paint nicks that have been brush-touched, and on one side the plastic tail light surround is slightly cracked. This car is stored in my heated building in Willoughby, OH. If you are interested in this car, it is well worth the time to come see it.
