WELCOME TO ANOTHER "NO RESERVE" AUCTION !! This is our 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo, it has been in storage since 2003. This is a mechanically sound car with very low mileage, however, it has been stored outdoors in Palm Springs and has not faired well cosmetically in the sun!! For a little cosmetic work you can get one of these highly sought after 944 Turbo Porsches for a fraction of what they go for. This auction has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, I can assist with delivery, I also deliver to the shipping terminals in the Los Angeles area on a weekly basis. I do have a few bidder requirements at the bottom of the page, please read them and the entire listing BEFORE placing your bid. Also, I plan on selling many of the cars in my collection this year, so it will benefit other collectors and those of you that already know me and what I have to continue watching my listings! Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! Cosmetically, this 944T is in need of a repaint. The original factory paint is still on the car but is sun faded and the clear coat is peeling off. The body itself is in excellent shape with the exception of a slight tear on the rear bumper cover. Upon inspection you will see that there is no rust or rot on this car, it is a solid California car that has been stored in the desert climate. The floors and undercarriage look excellent. Windshield has a vertical crack, all other glass looks good. I see some sun cracks in the passenger tail light and one wheel cap is missing. The interior also has some issues caused by the desert sun.....the bottoms of the front seats and dash pad are dried out and sun cracked. (see pics). There is a piece missing from the center console and the cargo cover and radio are also missing. Rear seats and everything else looks fine. Mechanically, this Porsche runs good and is extremely quick. Trans shifts smooth and on cue. I would recommend a complete tune-up, oil change and fuel flush. A new fuel pump was installed after we brought it out of storage. A/C blows cool, but not ice cold so it will need a recharge. I have in hand the clean and clear California title on this Porsche. There is 166 due to bring the cars registration current if the car stays in California. The car is located in Moreno Valley, California 92551 (Southern California) near March Air Base.
