VERY COLLECTIBLE 1959 AMC RAMBLER AMERICAN WITH FACTORY ORIGINAL CONTINENTAL KIT!! WELCOME TO ANOTHER "NO RESERVE" AUCTION !! This Rambler American Continental is well above a just project car as it runs and drives excellent and would make a fun daily driver for someone. With the exception of the tires and paint, this car is in original factory condition. This auction also has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, I can assist with delivery, I also deliver to the shipping terminals in the Los Angeles area on a weekly basis. I do have a few bidder requirements at the bottom of the page, please read them and the entire listing BEFORE placing your bid. Also, I plan on selling many of the cars in my collection this year, so it will benefit other collectors and those of you that already know me and what I have to continue watching my listings! Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! Cosmetically, this Rambler doesn't need much, it is a very straight car and I only see one small spot of repairable rust starting on the lower right rear corner (see pic). It is a easy 7-8 on a scale of 1-10 with the only deduction being for paint and minor interior work. The rest of the body is very straight and as close to perfect as you could ask for. The paint will obviously need redone, it is an older faded repaint and has 2 spots where primer was sprayed. The floors, trunk and undercarriage look excellent. Windshield and all other glass is clean and clear. I see a small "ding" on the grill (see pic) other than that all chrome and trim is intact on the car and looks good. Original hubcaps and wheels are in excellent condition and look great, the White wall tires are fairly new also. The interior is all original and will need only the seats recovered and carpet redone, seat springs and frames are excellent. All dash components and interior trim are intact and look good. Mechanically, this Rambler has the original engine and transmission, both are tight and run well. The original engine starts up and sounds excellent, no noises or smoke and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smooth and on cue. A new battery, upper radiator hose, and brake master have also been recently installed. I have in hand the clean and clear California title on this Rambler. There is 115.00 for registration due this year to bring it current in the state of California. The car is located in Moreno Valley, California 92551 (Southern California) near March Air Base.
