Vehicle Detail
Spirit R/T for sale Up for sale is a 1991 Dodge Spirit R/T with approximately 110,000 miles. I purchased the car from the original owner April 2005 with 90k miles. The odometer stopped working and a newer odometer with higher miles has been installed. Never been wrecked, abused, rented, or anything crazy like that. The vehicle check states I live in a flood area...the car has never been flooded. Also, the car is rust-free! The car has the following upgrades installed: 1. Koni shocks/struts 2. Eibach springs 3. 2.5-inch mandrel galvanized exhaust from FWD Performance with Magnaflow muffler. It was installed using the stock hangers in the stock locations. The catalytic converter has a straight pipe welded through it. 4. Spiva front poly bushings (sway bar & control arms). 5. Spiva rear 1-inch sway bar. 6. Spiva solid bobble strut. 7. Spiva poly engine mounts. 8. 3-inch turbo inlet tubing (silicone flex tubing) with K&N style cone filter. 9 Autometer white-face EGT meter. 10 Autometer white-face vacuum/boost meter. 11. Forward Motion adjustable fuel pressure regulator. 12. 255L/hr Neon fuel pump. 13. Magnecor spark-plug wire set. 14. Gauges installed in custom-made A-pillar pod. 15. Innovate LC-1 wideband meter with new Bosch sensor. The stock O2 sensor is still installed, but wiring has been re-routed through the LC-1 controller. 16. Custom shortened shifter. 17. Socketed (stock) SBEC. 18. Booger shifter bushings. 19. Turbo’s Unleashed turbo oil/coolant line kit. When I bought the car the vacuum harness and air filter box/setup was in very poor shape (previous owner got mad and parked the car when the timing belt broke) so I took it all out and installed a whole new vacuum harness as well as the new 3-inch inlet setup. The car is non-power, but I installed a power driver seat. The timing belt and water pump were recently changed (3 months ago). The water pump was fine, but was weeping slightly so I changed it. Wheels come from a ’92 Iroc R/T I used to own that was totaled and parted out. Tires are about 50%. The rotors were turned and new PFC carbon pads installed about 1yr ago. A/C works very well considering the age, as does the heat. The interior is in very good shape except for a dried/cracked spot in the dash that has grown to the size of a golf ball. I use a window shade to help prevent future cracking. The headliner is starting to sag. The paint is nearly shot as with many of the white cars. The top half was repainted by the previous owner, but it was not a great job and it shows. The stereo is included with the car no matter what it sells for...asking me to remove the stereo for a better price isn't an option. You may want to sell all the stereo pieces and pocket the money! I’ve done everything I can to keep the car in good condition (it does live in a garage). It is a daily driver, but this is a 20yr old car so absolutely no warranty of any kind will be written, expressed, implied, or even hinted to. If you buy the car and it blows up halfway home…sorry. The bill of sale you sign will state this. I have maintained this car very well and it should drive across the country without any issues. Having said that I will make a special offer to any potential buyer. I thought hard about offering a solution for delivery and think I have a good idea. Buy a 2-way plane ticket…if you decide you like the car and want to drive it home I will reimburse you half of your plane ticket up to $150. Other than that, how you get the car home is up to you.
