914 2.0 project .engine rebuilt by peak performance a well known air cooled shop lanham md. 1 hour on engine car starts runs and drives. Project started for my son he has lost interest and moved on I would like to get some of my money back the cost of the engine rebuild and dual carbs was about 3500.00. The body of the car was stripped to bare metal and primed. There was rust under the battery box ,this is normal on 914 A welder replaced all bad metal on the out side of the car but there is still minor repair to do behind the passanger seat. The doors open and close fine. the glass is good except there is a chip on the windshield that could be filled at a glass shop. The lights work and headlights open and close. The seats are fair some small tears the door panels need to be replaced but can be used. The dents shown in the pictures have been fixed and the car needs very little work to be painted. Tires have good tread but have been on the car for a while I am relisting the car due to a non paying buyer id stink11 she said she was soprry.
