1 9 5 7 C H E V R O L E T 3 1 0 0 N A P C O P O W R – P A K The truck I have for sale has a very neat history. It was bought new for a logging company foreman in the deep woods of North Carolina. The gentleman who was to use this truck did not use it like so many others would have. This truck has kept with great care and then was restored just a few years ago. One of the nicest parts about this truck is the fact it was built at GM with the conversion, not at the dealer it was sold by. These trucks had a history if being a dealer up fitter package until 1957 when GM decided to buy the parts from Northwestern Auto Parts Company (NAPCO) and do the instalinon at the factory. Prior to GM doing the installation the kit was said to be completed with only four new holes being added. The kit also used 85% GM parts to complete the job. This “TASK FORCE” truck that is for sale was special ordered with a Custom Cab. The Custom Cab came standard with the Big Back Window that today has became a huge resale item. The big back window not only adds a lot of visibility but a lot of style comes with it. The same year was the first year for the V8 but this option was not available in the four-wheel drive models. As you can see in the pictures though, it does have all the chrome and all the looks. This truck was restored to original with full numbers matching drive train. The front axel still has the original NAPCO stamping and the doorplate is still intact. This is a rare chance to purchase an original NAPCO.
