1965 Ford Mustang Super Pro Drag Car BODY - original steel body car steel doors and quarters, fiberglass tilt- liftoff one peice doghouse,lexan windows, CHASIS- backhalfed rear narrowed 9 inch ford 650 gear full spool strange axles 31x14x15 slicks mustang 2 front clip with disk brakes and line lock square tube frame 4 link rear with coil over shocks MOTOR- sbf 302 block boss crank int balanced rod journals turned to gm bme dragster pinned aluminum rods 2 ring pistons, custom cut 850 lift cam full roller , world products aluminum heads 208 titanium valves triple springged , roller lifters, rockers with stud girdles also main girdles in pan , victor jr intake with dominator 1050 alcohol carb , custom made big tube headers TRANS- lightened full roller c4 racing trans with brake,8 inch 6000 stall converter, low gear pack, with shatter sheilds, B&M rachet shifter with air controlled solenoid INTERIOR- firewall has been moved back 12 inches for motor has been moved back all metal work done nicely , 8 point cage with swing out on drivers side door bar, original dash with switches in center, original wheel , single seat with cam lock style harness, all carpeted , ELECTRONICS- msd6 ign box with three step, rpm chip box for shifter, big tach with shift light, oil pressure guages temp guages 2 fuel pressure guages electric fan , water pump, two holley black fuel pumps 5 gallon cell , battery disconnect and guage on rear of car with charger points ,crossover delay box car weighes around 2600 lbs is built nice and goes straight, pulls frontend 18 20 inches and carries out nicely wont stand up on ya . car is chipped now at 5800 launch, shifts at 8400 , and tops at 9000 but has turned 10 before, runs 580s 590s @109 111 mph in eigth motor has been gone through this summer new bearings, rings, gaskets, and lifters. ready to go has been out one weekend since maybe 8 passes. rear slicks have maybe 25 passes on them front skinnies about 60 percent. car does have title, but is not street legal.
